Andy and Paul gave great professional advice and set up a fantastic price for the fix. They responded to all my questions in detail and came on the set date for the project. They worked efficiently and with care and always cleaned up after the day's work. They even helped with filling in the cracks in the concrete afterwards and other minor projects. I highly recommend Hickman Masonry! Andy and Paul are wonderful people and hard workers.

They provided options for repair and followed up the same day with quotes. They promptly scheduled the job and it commenced at said time and date as planned. Unlike some contractors, they think outside the box. They came up with solutions that far exceeded the original work (not done by them!), installing angle iron and repairing brick in the first instance and then some steel behind the brick to stop it from falling away from the foundation, along with brick repairs for the second instance. I am delighted with their work.They cleaned up the job site impeccably. Paul is very responsive to inquiries, and communicates well. He comes when he says he will come and repairs went so smoothly. I would highly recommend them for any masonry work that needs doing! Thanks, Paul and Andy!

My chimney was leaking in one corner and I spent a couple of years and used another company to try to stop the leak. The other company charged me $1890.00 and offered a 7 year warranty. When I told the other company my chimney was still leaking after their work, the guy showed up with a caulking gun and it still leaked. Don't waste your money on the Burnaby company with a 7 year warranty; it's bogus. When Paul and Andy showed up and I showed them the work the other company had done, they laughed at how the warranty was handled with a caulking gun. At that point I realized I had thrown away $1890.00 with the other company and not to mention thousands of dollars of water damage inside my home. The work performed by Hickman was fantastic! I didn't write this review right away due to the fact I wanted to see some heavy rain and how well their repair would hold up. They nailed it ! NOT A DROP of water inside my home... Paul quoted me around the same price as the other company and if I would of called Hickman Masonry first, I wouldn't of thrown away thousands in hard earned money....I've referred Hickman Masonry to friends and will definitely use their services again for all my Masonry needs.
