Several years ago we set out looking for a great place in Niverville to grab dinner and watch a game or meet with friends. Finding options were limited, the idea for Hespeler’s Cookhouse & Tavern was born. Fish batter needs improvement. More herbs or spices and more tasty.
Prices a little high for what you get.
Wing night good though. Burgers are not homemade. Bartender nice friendly and multi tasked very well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly quiet when we arrived. The physical restaurant is in a location that is tough to find. There is not a lot of advertisement showing where it is and it looks to be attached to a retirement home. Service was good. They had a "craft beer" special, but the server was unaware of the types or styles of beer they offered. For the area, it would be a great place for a business lunch. Washrooms and facility were clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed great food, like fish & chips, burger & fries, pizza flat bread and Greek salad. Large portions on all, very reasonably priced. Little hard to find, follow railroad tracks aling 2nd Avenue, back side of building , Google takes you to the front.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I gotta say, the location is different. It's attached to the retirement home- for those on the lookout.
We sat at the bar, as it seemed like they're were less families with young kids. The front half of the restaurant is too open to be comfortable, so we recommend the bar. Very friendly staff, cold beer and a very good deal for the wings and fries on Thursdays. My wife and I had 2 drinks each and shared 3 entrees- $50!
Would definitely will be going back to this little gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered online for pick up. Very quick service. Food was delicious. Very generous portions. The individual poutine was huge. Prices were very reasonable. The BLT pictured was very filling and we'll done. Possibly the best I've ever had. We're excited to order again.
