We have been with Helcim for just a bit over a year now and so far we have been happy! We can almost always reach someone for support right away and if the person doesn't have an answer for us immediately they are able to bring the question to the team and reply back soon enough. We have even had instances where we suggested a change/improvement in the app and they actually did it! We are particularly pleased dealing with Alyx over email for support. The app and software has updates often which means they are constantly improving it and that is great!

A colleague recommended Helcim Commerce when we launched Vision Essence in Canada, 2018. Last year, our new U.S. entity became a customer of Helcim, too. Pricing for card processing tends to be a dark art, but they are clear and upfront about everything, and the service and support are excellent! Their folks have always been helpful on the phone, and they listen to new feature requests for the platform and e-commerce bundle that's included.

I used a different merchant account for decades until my CPA urged me to lower my costs. I only use online billing, so no actual cards are involved. I was worried and hesitant to use a company I didn't know and wasn't as well-known as others. I read the reviews and called several times to get more information, and then with some reluctance and concern, but feeling supported by the way I was handled when I called, and by so many people with very positive experiences, I moved all of my accounts over to Helcim. It's been a few months now. Moving the billing over was easy, and I got a lot of individualized help from Taryn in customer service. She was quick and very competent and answered all my detailed questions. Many people said in the reviews that the start up was a bit confusing but that was not my experience - possibly because we've been using online merchant accounts for so long. I'm extremely happy (and my CPA too) with the excellent, seamless service and costs with Helcim. Thank you!

Helcim's customer service is really great! We are just getting started with them and Lindy helped guide me through their website to adjust and personalize some things (like info on receipts) so we we not frustrated in these first few days. We've never had this level of personal service with any credit card processing company! It's for real, in our time zone and English is their primary language. It's all good!

I am not really sure where all of these positive reviews come from, this company has been anything but 'better than' in our experience. Yes, they are fairly responsive to inquiries, but in our experience there are very few instances where we need to correspond with our merchant service provider. They promised we would receive our machine in 48 hours, it took 5 days. When we called and emailed about this we got mixed messages. One young woman said it was due to pandemic-related product shortages, which seemed interesting considering that they charged our checking account 24 hours after we placed the order. Guess they are more interested in getting their money than helping us get ours, but then this is what we would expect from a merchant service provider . . . as I said, they don't seem 'better than' in our experience. The reasons we are leaving them almost as soon as we signed up is that, first, they aren't saving us any money -- they are literally charging the same as the last 3 providers we have had (we have been moving around 'cause each of them promises a better deal). And, second, this company takes their fees out of every day's revenue. After 25 years in business, and close to a half dozen merchant service providers, we have never experienced this before, and it is a book-keeping nightmare! If you take in $1000 in a day, their dashboard will reflect that amount, in both the 'Sales Amount' and 'Net Amount' columns, but your bank account will reflect a deposit of something less (i.e.; about 2.7% less). This means that 30 or 31 times a month, or however many days you work, you will have to enter a daily transaction to Helcim, that offsets the actual income that you earned and received. We have never worked with a company that does this (they take their cut out of your account once, at the end of the month). Other, less annoying, reasons encouraging us to leave are that Helcim will combine two days of revenue (even though we 'batch' once a day), and then take their cut . . . . another bookkeeping nightmare. And last, on their dashboard, even though they offer a number of choices (including: Home, Payments, Invoicing, Customers, Banking, etc.) there is NO place to find your monthly statement, and NO place to see your daily revenue and the amount they are withholding from you . . . you just have to compare your daily receipts total to your checking account balances. For all of those who think so highly of this company, know that most other options are so much simpler, cost no more, and that none of them, including Helcim, cares at all about you and your business. I suspect you can all do better, and know that we can.

I absolutely this company. I have always used square but due to a few issues I decided to look into other options. So glad I did. These people are so great to work with. I am so happy with Helcim and Noah- Noah has been my Helcim rep.The response time alone with getting back to me.... are you kidding me? Wow. Impeccable! If i could rate this company more than 5 stars, I would.

If you are looking for a credit card processor, look no further than Helcim! Over the years for our business, we have tried 4 different credit card processors. 2 local and also Square. We are completely happy with Helcim and they are the best processor out there in comparison to the other ones we've used. Often times, the local processors will say to go with them as it's good to have someone nearby and they can provide better customer service than a national company. With Helcim, have found that to totally NOT the case! Whenever we've needed something, they respond MUCH quicker than our local processors. Also, we are getting the best rates with any of the other services we've used. Forget Square, they process for the same flat fee, but you end up getting worse rates. Not only does Helcim have the lowest processing fees we've experienced and great customer service, but they offer a card reader for only $109 that comes with its own stand and can sit on a counter for client payments, but also is completely portable. Amazing POS solution for a very, very reasonable price compared to others out there. Also, they have great & intuitive software to support it all, card vault, online payments, etc., the list goes on. Again, look no further, save yourself the hassle of another credit card service provider and just go with the best! Is it possible to love your credit card processor? With Helcim, YES!!!!!

I could not be more satisfied and confident with this relationship with Helcim. Their review remarks from other site’s I’ve read about customer service have proven true for me also. Two text questions last Saturday were both responded to within an hour in a friendly helpful satisfactory manner. Today getting a call from Adam and welcome email from Hannah were professional, very friendly, and welcome. Really looking forward to customizing the various Helcim forms and utilizing the numerous features they offer at such a reasonable rate. Glad to have Helcim as my credit card processor.
