★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heart Lake Country Homes is a warm welcoming retreat from hectic city life. The Country home and Cowboy cabin are set on 80 private acres with it own heart shaped lake. There is abundant wildlife, we have seen, red squirrels, ruffled grouse, mallard ducks, blue jays, muskrat, whiskey jacks and the herd of horses is simply amazing. The home itself includes a huge kitchen with every amenity to cook a fabulous meal. The beds are cozy and comfortable and the views from the windows are breathtaking. There is a large fire pit and several amazing decks to enjoy the sunrise or sunset in big sky country. If that was not enough it is located in the Kananaskis Country, with over 7 provincial parks to enjoy. We have been e-biking on the property and at the surrounding parks, but we can see ourselves returning in the winter time to snowshoe or cross county ski.
