β β β β β Healthfitters is a beautiful shop with such knowledgeable staff. The variety of products, including zero waste products and food items like kombucha, is incredible. I am so impressed with the service and the help I received at Healthfitters! Will go there again and suggest you do too!

β β β β β Iβm not one to write negative reviews, but our experience here was truly just so bad.
First, my SWEET mother in law mentioned that she had an awful experience with the man that owned it being rude to her for no reason. I honestly forgot that she said that till after our interaction. She definitely doesnβt deserve to be treated rudely. She is the sweetest lady and so kind.
Second, My husband went in to get 4 dozen eggs, while I stayed in the car with our baby, while we were on our way out of town.
The man refused to give him that many, telling my husband that he could only give him 2 dozen and then he would be βsold outβ.
Well it later came out that he did in fact have more eggs, but wouldnβt sell him anymore. He couldβve just said that thereβs a 2 dozen maximum, not lied about how many eggs he had?
My husband said, βwell I need 4 dozen, so is there anyway you could sell me 4 dozen and just count two for me and two for my wife. We are on our way out of town and wonβt be able to come back anytime soonβ Keep in mind, the owner could see me outside in the car, from the window.
The man refused, while being completely unnecessarily rude. He wanted me to come in to buy the other 2 dozen eggs, by myself?? It was honestly such a bizarre interaction, especially being a small local business. He was very short with me and passive aggressively said βyeah youβre welcomeβ while I walked out.
I would think customer service should be super important to these businesses that thrive off of word of mouth. I wanted to love this store, but I just canβt support such rude behavior. No one deserves to be treated that way, even if the owner did need to say no or tell my husband there was a minimum. You can say it, while still treating customers with kindness.
Take your money elsewhere to support other local farmers and shops, who are kind and value their customers.
