My husband recently surprised me with a weekend getaway at the healing springs spa at Harrison Hot Springs resort. I decided to get a manicure at the spa as a treat and I was pretty disappointed. While they welcomed me warmly and the people were personable , the quality is poor. I got a gel manicure. The options of colour were extremely limited , and the quality of the polish very poor. It took 3 coats of polish and they look super heavy and unnatural. As well; the manicure was done in a spa treatment room sitting on what felt like a doctors table. the lotion they used felt cheep and in all honesty the experience was most definitely not worth the money I spent. I’ve previously spend $30 on a much better gel manicure. I would most definitely not go here again.

I bought my girlfriend a massage and then we booked a private mineral soak. She said her massage was great! I really enjoyed the mineral soak. I arrived at the spa before she was done her massage, so I sat and waited. The staff asked if I wanted to go in earlier as the soak room was ready. They also said that it wasn’t booked for after so we could stay in there longer. Great friendly staff and would go again.

Beyond awful. My sisters and I took my mom here as a present and were all unbelievably disappointed. When we were checking in the ladies were whispering back and forth that they had just placed a group in the "Quiet Area" so we had to sit in the lobby. There were no change rooms as we wanted to change in to our robes we have brought from the hotel room. My massage was hugely disappointing. The masseuse only massaged one area of my back and left the rest. My sister was called into her appointment 10 minutes late and her appointment ended at the same time. To top it off the place was FILTHY. There was a full spider web on one of the lamps at the front check in area (with caught bugs) so it had to have been there for awhile and the shelves and counters in the massage rooms with dusty and gross. This place charges that of a upscale spa but it is absolutely not worth it. The $6 massages I received in Thailand were much better. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Please! Don't do it!

I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed in my experience. I booked their Indulgence package, which is worth a pretty penny. I saved up my tips and looked forward to treating myself to a nice spa day and it did not live up to expectations. Upon arrival I didn't get to put anything into lockers and no robes or anything were offered, when booking a spa day that is 4.5 hours long why would you not offer lockers for your guests items? I understand it is located at a hotel and many guests have rooms but not everyone does, this is a pretty basic spa amenity that is seriously lacking. My massage and facial were very nice, no complaints at all. I was given 1 hour for lunch and I wanted to make use of their Sauna / Steam room on site, the desk girls finally gave me a robe to wear and sent me off to the public area of the pools where the sauna is located. I get changed walk into the room and its not working. I went back to the desk and they now tell me that its been not working for 3 DAYS. Why did your staff send me there fully knowing that I planned on going in there when its been broken for days?! No signage on the door or anything either. The package also includes a lunch, but all they did was give me a gift card for their restaurant on site, so I had to get changed back into my regular clothing just to get my included lunch. I was sent to the "Lakeside Cafe" upon arriving, there was no one in there - a ghost town. I had to walk into the back kitchen just to talk to someone. They told me the restaurant was closed for a conference so I had to go to their bar and order food from there. The bar menu is definitely smaller so my selections were pretty small. The service at the bar was good but the whole communication issue is definitely an issue. After lunch I head back to the spa to get my manicure / pedicure. The services themselves were nice but the polish job was sloppy, 2nd coat didn't even cover my whole nail so its separating and layered funny. It's only been 4 days since my appointment and its already chipping. Overall just a disappointing experience. Not worth the money paid. I won't be back and I will be sure to warn others as well.

My spa experience at Healing Springs was excellent. The environment is very calming and serene. Fruit-infused water was served as I sat down in the waiting room to fill in the health form. I had a shiatsu massage, which was excellent. The masseuse worked all over my body, not missing any sore points. I came out of the massage relaxed and rejuvenated. A spa treatment gives you access to the hot springs pools in the resort. The pools were decent too, but a bit noisy and crowded. The changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers were quite terrible though. In the women's room there was only 1 bathroom, 1 shower, and a few tiny lockers. The floor was dirty. I would highly recommend the Healing Springs Spa, but not the hot springs pool.

I showed up to Harrison Hot Springs with my wife, brother and his husband with a reservation at 4:30pm on November 15th. Apparently they had emailed a cancelation earlier that day due to flood warnings. But we didn't receive the email in time. We were already there at the front desk when the acting manager explained that the hotel couldn't accept us as guests because there might be an evacuation order. We told them we would accept that risk and would not hold them accountable in any way if our stay was interrupted by an evacuation order. They told us that they simply could not take us and we should to drive back to Vancouver (in the dark and the rain) or stay at another hotel down the street. Brilliant. I mean, how are either of those options any safer for us? Trying to salvage the trip, and accepting that we could not be given a room, we asked if we could just use the hot springs since we had come all the way from Toronto. The hotel pools were still clearly open and operational. Nope. Those were only for guests. Unbelievable.

Tatiana is an amazing massage therapist, I've followed her from different locations she's works absolute wonders on my back and sciatica. Highly highly recommend What I don't recommend is this spa in general they change their policies not notifying long time clients at bookings, and then the manager has such an attitude and blanently lied about the date of a policy change and if she just told the truth I would have been like okay no worries

The spa is nothing special, given the price of the services. I have had a lot more for a lot less. I booked my kid for a β€œmini manicure”. She received a sloppy nail polish job that chipped before the end of day. I understand there isn’t a lot that can be done for a kids mani, but the service was supposed to last 45 mins (it was barely 30) and the technician did not push nor trim her cuticles, nor engage in any conversation. And I was charged $55 plus tip for this. Not worth it at all. I had a massage. It was fine. Nothing special at all. And not worth the price. My mom however had a really good massage and she was pleased with her experience.
