Melanie was super friendly and very personal.
It’s an old building which is what I love it so if you want some character with a great location I suggest this place !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently received a tour here and the property manager was phenomenal; very friendly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the building. Despite its age, the building is super well maintained and in great condition. The units have lots of character, and there are several amenities on site. The space seems to offer a very cozy community vibe to all residents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its an old building, and with that come some small issues. Leaks, heating is a bit wonky sometimes, walls aren't as thick and other small issues.
On the bright side we love our apartment! Rent is decent for Toronto and we got 3 months free rent with a reduced overall price. Big beautiful apartment overlooking Riverdale Park. HUGE living room, beautiful fire place, updated bathroom and kitchen. Nice equal sized rooms both with windows. Window in bathroom in kitchen. Lots of natural light.
Also seems like more young people are moving in which is a bonus! We really like it here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT RENT A UNIT IN THIS APARTMENT.
The units are admittedly old but there's tons of issues that management have promised to address before and after we moved in. None of it has been done 4 months later.
Issues we've had:
- heat radiators not working
- broken lights that were promised to be fixed before move in (never done).
- missing bathroom mirror that was promised to be installed before move in (never done).
- doors falling off hinges
- paint chipping all over the place.
They're charging $2800/month (doesn't include locker, electricity or parking) which in my opinion is absolute robbery given the age and poor upkeep of the units. Stay away... you can rent condos elsewhere for the same price but with modern interiors and amenities.
Updates (January 2022)
- we now have mice in scurrying around in the unit and more doors falling off the hinges with no word of a repair timeline.
