Love the cinnamon buns here. Thank you to the wonderful staff for giving me a taste of my student days! Tuum est!

Food is insanely overpriced and i'm sure the owner knows it but honestly the service is very good. Both the cashiers and those working in the deli are always kind, funny, and welcoming (unlike every other place to eat n campus).

The staff on the checkout desk were rude. I was waiting on line today around the noon time. A student in front of me asked the staff for something that the store did not offer. The staff could have just said no, but they laughed at the poor student and said something like "that's stupid, how should we do it". They kept joking at the student in front of all the other waiting customers even when the student left. It was very disturbing.

Really convenient as I live in Ponderosa. Staff are friendly and helpful. My go to place for a cold sandwich or roasted chicken. Sure, the groceries are marked up a bit, but I often get eggs and milk here, as the mark up isn't worth carrying them from Save On or No-Frills

No regard for hours of operation. The clerk walked out the door and told me that they're closed at ten pm before walking away having shut down the store. This at 945 maybe 950.

Good selection for a convenience store, and tasty prepared food for those busy days (I would love to see some vegan baked goods, thoughβ€”I know from my self-isolation that UBC’s catering service makes them!). That said, everyday goods (tissues, batteries, pantry items, etc.) are sold at extortionate prices that aren’t exactly student budget-friendly. Being run by UBC, you’d think they wouldn’t have much issue paying the rent in their own building that they’d have to sell everything at such a markup to a fairly captive audience.

Really good sandwiches and baked goods! The selection of baked goods always contains a few muffins, croissants, and bagels, with other things like scones and cookies popping up occasionally. The brownie is heavenly. They also have soup and salads. The soup is usually good but sometimes bland, and the salads use fresh ingredients but are usually too oily for me. There's also a some grocery and hygiene items, but not enough that you could reliably do any kind of real grocery shopping here, it's just there for students needing to grab something quick. The fresh food is a little on the pricey side, groceries are a lot on the pricey side. Staff is mostly very friendly, but occasionally there'll be someone who doesn't seem to know what they're doing.
