We purchased wide plank European engineered floors from HardWood Planet and pleased with our new flooring look in our living room. Price was amazing, 1.99 per sq.ft., installation went out smoothly and clean. Good floor for the price. Recommended this store for my friends.

Poor customer service. I was waiting for somebody in store to come and attend us but no one did. There were 2 people who did not even bother to check with us. I did call them before going to the store. On my second visit, I called them again before arrival and same thing happened. The person on call said you can come in and I will check price for you for the hardwood we were interested to purchase. Sorry but atleast acknowledge your customer!

Disappointed with quality of BP grade. We spoke to Viktor and he showed us what the BP grade would look like in the showroom. However, the pieces we received were severely damaged and chipped. Our installers used it in the installation and it was too late for us to have it redone. We were led to believe that all it would have is knots and shorter in length which we were okay with. We didn't use them for installation but the wood has shrunken and there are a lot of gaps. Really wish we hadn't gone with BP grade and I think the company should not even sell it given the quality. I would have been better off purchasing all of the regular grade. Sadly, I would not be able to recommend the company given we feel we were seriously misled.

5 stars! This was an amazing experience for me as a subcontractor. After dealing with many different suppliers before, finally I could find some supplier that I can actually trust for the prices that they offer me, as well as a fantastic service. I am so pleased with this manufacture.

POOR QUALITY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY. _____________________________________________ Answer to the owner: The product has serious issue, some tongue and grove does not match. The distributer is aware of this, he came to the site and admitted this has quality issue, so they send email to the company try to solve it. The company simply said no, as the owner told me, he learnt from the past, he has to be tough to his customer. I repeated asked the owner when he came to my project, is this really HP quality, and should I expect this kind of quality, he kept silent. The product was kept indoor with furnace and humidifier on, all according to the manufacture requirement. Professionals told me, the product should perform better when the product keep in house in a controlled environment, but the customer claimed the issue caused by longer time in house. The owner always use 5% as his excuse, as long as he believes there are less than 5% of products have issues, he is OK with it, and customer has to live with it. We paid premium price for the product, and quality is poorer than laminate and engineered hardwood products. Series issue with quality control, same model has dark line stain issue, Tonge and grove does not match. Even in the same box, they still have groove issue. I tried to call the owner Alex to solve it, he does not answer his phone. Saying is one thing, doing is another. This is exactly what is happening with this company. Check carefully with the warranty claim, read it in detail, and you would not be fooled by the big text. ____________________________________________ We bought the select and better wire brushed hardwood floor from HP flooring, the products came with uneven stain, black strips on many pieces. The product also has tongue and grove issue, the first shipment does not work well with the 2nd shipment, as the surface are not even when put two boards together. The shower owner showed up and admit the slot issue, So they took the 2nd shipment back, and send another shipment. When the 3rd shipment arrived, we took a few pieces out and tested it out, the tongue and grove matches with the 1st shipment. The surface are smooth and even when you put them together. Unfortunately, When the floor have been installed, we discovered the uneven surface again, this tells me the products are having serious issues, the quality in the box are not the same, Tongue and grove and not the same even within the same shipment. Also, we noticed black strips on the surface of the boards, many of them. This is unusual, I also send the picture to my builder friends, they never had such issue before. I have been in construction and real estate development for over 15 years, I have not seen this in my career. So we called HP and the big boss showed up. And told me this is normal, I should expect this from hardwood floor. Well, to be honest, I choose HP flooring simply because it is made in Canada and it’s made locally. But, this product really disappoints me. HP flooring is offering a box of hardwood floor for me to replace the ones with issues, and I have to get my guy fix it. By going through all this, I conclude that the product has serious issue, so does the customer service. If you are buying HP flooring products, be prepared for this.

At first pleasant , knowledgeable salesman gave all kinds of good advices. We did purchased the flooring. When I came to pick it up, suddenly,I was told, if I use my credit card it’s an additional 2%. Using all kinds of tricks to get the sale. Not very honest people , I should say. Very unpleasant

Great flooring company. Likely has whatever shade of floors that you are looking for. Just make sure they don't oversell the amount of flooring you need because they have a policy where unless you have 2 boxes more than what you don't need, you cannot return extra flooring. So they will likely sell you one box extra (beyond the extra flooring you were already sold).
