β β β β β Very convincing veggie meat and chicken. Beats anything found in the supermarket. The veggie imitation chicken strips taste like chicken nuggets! The imitation ribs are pretty tasty too. I try a new variety every time I go. Definitely a go-to for those looking for mock meat, seafood and chicken! Most are non-GMO soy based. Total hidden gem

β β β β β AMAZING!!!!!!! Super friendly service, and I found everything I was looking for! Plant-based Seafood items, crispy bean curd, vegan oyster sauce, the list is endless! Prices are very very decent, and now they're open on Sunday as well. Definitely, very highly recommend this place for vegans and (hopefully-future--turned-vegan) vegetarians!!

If you've dined at Bo Kong or 3G, Po Kong or any other Chinese vegetarian restaurant in the Lower Mainland, you'll see some very familiar items here in either dried or frozen states. For example, ever wonder where the dried pork floss in Sun Bo Kong's steamed fish rice rolls came from? How about imitation shrimp or those amazing chicken drumsticks at Po Kong? You can find them all here. The staff at Happy Veggie World are super friendly. It's a small family business that I wholly support on a regular basis. Don't forget to sign up for their free membership as you get 5% off by using your phone number. Credit cards are accepted here.
The main detractors:
- Food coloring, MSG and canola oil are found in many of the products. I stay away from these as many of them are toxic for your health.
- A choice of dairy or vegan. Many products here have whey or egg. I preferred if it was all vegan.
- There is so much plastic used here. I wish they sold in bulk where we get to use our own containers so that less plastic is used. The act of chucking the packaging in the trash each time I use a product is so wasteful.

I visited their store recently. The products they private label with happy vegetarian world can be bought in original packaging from the manufacturer as I saw them at their store. Deceptive people.
