I have delivery here, truck load. Had no problems, people nice and friendly. Good company

It's pretty dang good, but can be kind of annoying. They used to supply everything and give pre-diced garlic. That's why I stuck with Goodfood over Hello Fresh. But now you got to dice your own garlic(honestly not that big of a deal, but mildly annoying when it used to be easier), and when you have no butter on hand and the recipe calls for butter, you're kind of hooped. If the recipe calls for ingredients that aren't provided, please let us know in advanced

I just had a terrible customer service experience like the others. I received a reactivation code maybe a year ago that wouldn't work, so I had created a second account to try to solve the problem. I even talked to a customer service rep at that point. I now haven't used the service for several months and rotate freshprep and hellofresh weekly. I got a reactivation email today to my account and tried to use it but it wouldn't work. The chat rep clearly didn't look at my file at all and in fact initially told me I didn't have an account under that email address, and then changed her mind and decided i had two accounts still and they couldn't offer the coupon code, i guess because I was cheating their system? I wasn't, it's just inefficient. Gave two stars because when I can actually manage to get an order, the food is okay. Lesson learned, and will stick with FreshPrep!

Followed the cancellation instructions yet still got charged and a package sent. I sent 3 emails about cancellations and followed the process and never once received a response and they still charged my account. Enjoyed the food but now no trust in the company

Absolute garbage. Not only did we receive moldy food but you have to call them to cancel your subscription. I would stay far away.

GoodFood automatically changed my plan from classic to more expensive plan and over charged my credit card, and never informed me through email or any other form of communication. i had to find it by seeing my credit card statement, and when asked their customer care representative, they are just saying we don't inform of meal plan changes. the overall subscription fee/plan process was not very transparent and visible to customers, and would never use this service again.

Could be a great company, food is delicious and convenient, but the subscription cancellation process (yes, process) is difficult and manipulative. I thought that I could simply order a couple deliveries, but got signed up for a monthly subscription without any obvious notification. You cannot cancel the subscription within the app, and I had to send three emails with increasing forcefulness to cancel the subscription. Goodfood could have stellar reviews if they simply fixed these obvious problems.

I was skeptical about delivery and subscription due to all the reviews on here...but so far I've had an amazing experience with several deliveries. 1. The food and taste is amazing. It trumps the other mealkit companies I've tried. Sauces and spices are more complex and tastefully crafted compared to other companies. 2. Packaging feels high end compared to other mealkit companies. Makes me feel like I got food from a high end grocery store. 3. More expensive than other mealkit companies but still cheaper than eating similar quality food in a restaurant! And the taste and the satisfaction of cooking a fancy-looking meal is worth it. I tried Hello Fresh too and while Hellofresh's end product tastes fine, their recipes end up looking like an average joe meal. But Goodfood makes me feel like an accomplished chef of gourmet meals and it tastes amazing! This is also the only mealkit company that gives so much vegetables that I did not feel like I needed to add extra ingredients to fill up my stomach! I have had to add my own protein or veggies with Hello Fresh portions. My conclusion: After trying Goodfood several times, I will be subscribing for boxes once a month or once every two months as an occasional at-home gourmet treat for me and my family! I have confidence in their food. No mealkit company can be perfect given the realities and constraints plus the challenges of hiring good delivery people, but so far Goodfood has been executing well in Vancouver from my experience. And I live in an apartment building and have had no issues with delivery.
