Nothing like having your kid smile when you drop her off and still smiling when you pick her up. The teachers are very sweet and caring.

I really don't know who can leave a 1 star review for Happy Bird without an explanation! We had a really great experience. We have been with Happy Bird for 2 years and although they are a small daycare, it is tidy, clean and very well run. My daughter, who can speak extremely well, tells us how her days are. She tells us about circle time, craft time, story time, nap time, and free play time. She tells us what they eat at snack time (fruits and crackers mainly), and if they played outside and who got in trouble for doing what :P I like that they reinforce good behaviour, and they can calm down a crying child. My daughter has had days where she just was so upset but we would have to leave for work. But then after we'd pick her up, we would learn that she had calmed down shortly after and had enjoyed a fun day. My daughter's favourite times were their arts and crafts sessions. She also enjoyed gardening in the spring as she got a chance to eat veggies they grew from their garden! Also, while we have been at this daycare, my daughter had the opportunity to be exposed to many different cultures and languages! It was a very inclusive environment. All that aside, it's the caregivers that matter the most. The staff at Happy Bird have been wonderfully warm, kind and attentive. They comforted my daughter when she was distraught, they know what her favourite toys are, what she loves to do, and helped her potty training. My daughter has liked every one of them and so have we. We highly recommend Happy Bird.

We are so grateful that we found Happy Bird! Before starting here, we hadn't even been able to leave my daughter with Grandma - she would scream the entire time. With Jane and Jamie she was perfectly comfortable within a week and even asked to go to daycare on the weekend! She comes home and does circle time with all her stuffed animals and she is constantly surprising us with random things she learned at school. She adores her teachers (Jane, Jamie and Linda) and the other kids. It has been so comforting knowing that she is safe, cared for and happy at daycare. A year and a half later, we are really sad to be leaving and have had a very hard time finding a preschool that we want to register for, because we are constantly comparing each place to the lovely experience we've had with Happy Bird.

I am so grateful to have found this day care. Jane is extremely professional, easygoing, understanding and flexible. My son attended Happy bird for 2 years and not even once I was worried about leaving my son there. All the staff-Jane, Jamie and Linda are extremely caring , patient and good with kids. I am glad I found them! I would highly recommend them anyday !

My daughter loves going to this daycare. Jane, Jamie and Linda are all kind and amazing to work with. They take great care of my daughter. She has started to speak and talks about Jamie and Linda a lot at home in her broken language. One day she fell down in our living room and was looking for Jamie. So that says it all. Highly recommended it!
