Standard breakfast, but do you prefer there’s a timmies amd MacD right next door. Walking distance to a few different restaurants. I would go back for a visit when it’s not work related.
V	Valerie Zimmer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were great the first time I stayed here. The 2nd visit didn't go as well. We pre-booked 2 adjoining rooms with a very late check-in. When we arrived we learned a guest decided to stay an extra night, so instead of telling him "sorry, this room is already booked for tonight" they stuck us in basement rooms. We learned at check out they don't normally rent those out in winter. It was -26 degrees outside and it felt almost as cold in the rooms! So after a 7 hour drive we got the shiver all night. We called the desk for more blankets and the snippy response was "I'll see what I can scrounge up". Instead of an apology when we checked out, we were told " oh yeah, the previous worker forgot to turn the heat on"! I will never stay here again and would NOT recommend it to anyone!!

The breakfast is your basic eggs, waffles, cereal, pork sausage (little pink on the inside so should be cooked a little longer), orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, bagels, toast, fruit. Coffee selection is great and great tasting. Hot chocolate is available. You need to prove your vaccination to eat there and wear your mask when walking around. Room is basic. Always clean. Only thing I wish though is that you could get a better view of the lake with the Lakeview room. Great experience every time.
M	Megan S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Elliot Lake Hampton inn is in a good location and has comfortable beds, but that's about all it has going for it. Both staff members we interacted with were rude and clearly unhappy to be working. Absolutely all covid restrictions have been removed and yet they still haven't opened the pool. They don't even offer cleaning/refreshing services anymore unless requested, so I'm not sure where the money from the overpriced room rate goes. There's no where else to stay in Elliott Lake and as a result it's very clear that the Hampton Inn knows they can do the bare minimum and charge an outrageous amount because people have no choice but to stay there.

I forgot several very important items and the staff had immediately placed them in a safe awaiting my return. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
