G	Gracelyn Angeles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a first time home buyer, you would expect a pre construction home to be less of an inconvenience as opposed to buying used. Well let me tell you, so far I've had not one, not two but 4 leaks in my home!!! I've only been here for less than 6 months and am quite disappointed with the plumbing issues in our home. There has been poor workmanship where some of the trades missed leaks prior to our PDI, others have said the issues been resolved when in fact it hasn't and mainly people cheaping out on material by not installing things that are supposed to be. It has not even been 6 months and I am already having so many issues. Things have been "fixed" and then "re-fixed" again only to find another issue related to the same problem. Customer service has been great but unfortunately I would reconsider buying a Halminen as I've been told leaks are becoming more and more of an issue in these homes. Good luck !
R	R. W. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am very disappointed in the shoddy workmanship throughout my Halminen home. We had a 3" HOLE IN OUR BASEMENT FLOOR RIGHT THROUGH TO THE GROUND BENEATH FOR THE DRAINAGE TUBING, FOR THE FURNACE SETUP; the original furnace had broken down EVERY single winter until replaced; ventilation and furnace setup are a joke; the original central air system had to be replaced at 7 years old; a basement leak occured in year 6; multiple plumbing leaks; mold in all of our windows every winter; horrible insulation everywhere, including a 1" gap at the top of our front entry door on one side, as the door was hung at an angle, the same with our garage entry door, cold air comes right through; front door step was installed too high to pass inspection, people tripped on it constantly; and much much more that I can't think of now for this review. We have had to put a lot of money into this home that we shouldn't have, to make repairs to things that were not done properly by the builders. I would be highly cautious if considering a Halminen home.
