★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst freaking hair salon I have ever been. I felt like I was imprisoned the whole time. The guy who cut my hair was rude a*. He has no clue what he is doing. She shook my head very strongly and bit his tooth many times, looked like he hated his job. May be bro go do something else ! Would never be back here. Regret coming here. Avoid this place at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to go for a traditional hair cut and optional shave. Roy, Hamsi and the other barbers are good and quick - if that is what you are looking for. Located with the Taradale Calgary Co-op store, you can combine your trim with a bit of shopping (take a look at the great Halal meat counter). Always friendly, professional and friendly. That is the key to their many years of success and a dedicated clientele.

He was very cruel personality. Treating my baby like a animal. Don’t recommend this shop for ur innocent babies.. From his today ‘s experience my baby is still scared from inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the worst experiences in my life. Staff changed and guy cut my hair in 4 min. Not what I wanted. He is poking me under ear with trimmer. I wish atleast one person reading this review will stop going there. OMG staring at cash machine when paying money. He does not know what VISA is . He thinks it should only be on credit cards and not on debit card. Terrible service. I used to go this place before but new staff terrible experience. Just counted minutes to come out of it. Will never go back. Already stopped few people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Employees are not following any schedule. I am usually going with Alex and he is good at what he is doing, but he comes late, sometime you wait for him and he don’t show up that day at all.
When you call them they can’t confirm when an employee will show up, they end up saying that noon is their time to arrive, but not sure exactly at what time he will be here. Very unprofessional. I have changed my barber now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to stop by Hair Shapers for a quick trim and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service I recieved from the barbers. I explained and showed the barber a picture of the cut I wanted and he did an amazing job in under 10 minutes. The haircut was only 25 dollars and the girls/guys working there were super friendly. Thanks again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going to 'Hair Shapers' for decades since it was owned/operated by Brian who had to retire.
And who sold it to Roy who stayed in the same location for years till the Bedding'co-op changed the mall configuration. Then he moved to Falconridge locations till getting bumped out by co-op, and subsequently loblaws due to their remodeling the property.
Was just lookin' for a possible new location via google (vs giving him a call right-a-way), and the occ. infamous google maps system puts a 'Hair Shapers' location in the undeveloped west side of Prairie Winds Park (?) .
Google can be so amusing at times, eh !
