Kids go wild about the Hair Do Zoo… and at the same time get a perfect and trendy haircut by licensed and experienced hairstylists who care about kids and quality hair care.
The specialty salon creates a fun and comfortable atmosphere for children by offering children’s special car chairs such as Batman, Spiderman, Race cars and Animal chairs.
In addition, a friendly Alligator gobbles up wet towels while cartoons, fun mirrors, a candy counter and a gaming pre-teen section keeps kids happy.
Our hairstylists are highly trained and qualified to work with children to make the hair-cutting experience fun for kids and relaxing for parents.
Hair Do Zoo has consistently won “Best place for kid’s haircuts” in Winnipeg Parent Magazine and is proud of its high retention of loyal clients and staff. Most staff has been with the salon over 10 years and are now servicing a second generation of clientele.

We expected our son would not be so happy customer , but the people at hair do zoo made it look like the easiest job. Will.definitely recommend anyone with toddlers to visit this place. A big thank you guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sensational! My baby Boy's 1st haircut was a breeze because of the great distractions (race car chairs and PJ Masks) and his hairdresser's amazing handling and attitude.
The really impressive thing was my 3 year old who HATES his haircut made it thru without a single breakdown, whereas last haircut at another salon was a blubbering mess.
Kudos to these artists, and a deep gratitude. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really loved this place. A great gem to take your young ones for a hair trim. We just took our 1.5 year old here for a haircut and turned out way better than we imagined. Staff was super kid friendly, very personable. Our baby was terrified of the buzzer but that was expected. The hair cut person handled it very well and was very professional about making suggestions from side cuddles, and other distractions to ease the experience. Overall, worth every cent and will be coming back 100%! Also, the car chairs, tv's and overall atmosphere was quite refreshing and clean! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just took my 17 month old son there today for his first haircut and although he wasn’t too happy about it he did better than expected with the toddler/kid friendly environment. Lucille was absolutely wonderful with my squirmy and and not so enthused son, she made the whole experience a pleasant one for the both of us. We will definitely be back!

He was occupied with Cocomelon and his really cool batmobile chair for his cut and staff did a great job. We even recieved an adorable first haircut certificate and his stylist even gave us two baggies with his hair for the grandparents to have
The second visit went just as smoothly, his stylist wasn't even fazed that he insisted on putting his snacks on her shirt...sharing and all? He sat on Dads lap for this visit as he had fallen asleep in the car and had just woken up a little grumpy
Definitely planning a third visit as soon as we can make it down!
