β β β β β Jillian is amazing! I got a haircut from her. Her salon was super clean, professional, and all around awesome.
I asked her for what she thought might look good (I had super long hair prior) and she took baby steps to get me to where I had the best hair cut ever! She took her time, meaning that I was super happy the whole way and she could be creative. She also gave me the cutest after-cut style.

β β β β β I was living in Ecuador for six months and for the first three I had no access to a quality hair stylist. I allowed my hair to grow unbridled for that time. I looked like mowgli from the jungle book. Women and men were unsure if I was human or ape at that point. I was at my wits end until I found Jill, or rather she found me. With limited supplies she cut my hair on the beach and just like that I was human again. The women who sneered me now adored me, children brought flowers and laid them at my feet, men pledged their life to me to fight. Needless to say this was life changing. Do yourself a favor, allow her to bring out the inner beauty that is inside so that those on the outside can see it.

She was professional, understanding, and effortlessly displayed her knowledge and experience throughout the entire process. My number one choice moving forward and the first stylist I recommend to all my friends.

β β β β β Jillian is the dream hair stylist...I even go as far to say that she is a "hair witch" is how I like to playfully put it! But FOR REAL, Jillian not only managed to impeccably execute the colour stripping of a depressing brown-black drug store dye I had been using for four years too long, but managed to lighten my hair to a spectacular rose gold colour while maintaining a platinum blonde (and lush, not dry or broken) transition at the roots which will continue to be maintained as my hair grows out. I honestly cannot emphasize how impressed I am with her service, knowledge, care and attention to detail. Cutting hair can be an emotional experience, and finding the right person who "gets" your personality, style, and hair type has been one of my greatest challenges. Jillian cuts to individual hair types, I even recommended my boyfriend (who has thick, coarse, kinky hair go see her) and she gave him the best hair advice. I guess the only thing I can say is I never feel always so confident to try out different experimental things with my hair, and tend to repeat old "safe" hair habits. But thanks to Jillian's expertise and careful guidance, my new coloured hair gets more compliments than ever before. As my bff put it, both me and my boyfriend's hair are like, "a seventies wet dream", thanks Jillian for keeping us looking cute Β―\_(γ)_/Β―. β₯βΏβ₯

Before Jillian, cutting my hair gave me so much anxiety that I barely ever got it done, maybe 1x every year or so (see photo 1 - long dead locks!). Now, when I sit down with Jillian for a cut and style, I hand over full trust and let her do whatever she feels will suit me, and she is always right. She calms my initial anxiety and assures me it will be amazing.
Her passion and joy for hair styling and being present with her people makes the experience so fun, interesting, and worth every penny - because even as she shares stories and listens to yours, her skill and attention to detail is on point.
Just look how short she got me to go - I couldn't be happier with the results - I've never worn my hair down so much since my last haircut with Jillian.
Definitely do not hesitate to book with Jillian - she will create magic for you and share stories about her blooming passion projects in other realms ;)

I cannot express how much I recommend this woman who is such a stunning human inside and out. Itβs not just your hair sheβs working on - itβs honestly your soul. β β β β β Jill is one of the only stylists who's successfully made me love my hair after an appointment.
She is a total wizard with color and cuts, and is hugely attentive to detail. What you get following an appointment with her will exceed even your wildest expectations.
I've seen her a couple times - first for a more simple highlight/cut, and more recently for an INTENSE color correction (from a previous stylist not associated w/ her or with Josef Saliba salon).
She didn't hesitate when I arrived and was transparent around desperately wanting my old blonde color back, even when it meant a huge time commitment on her part (8 hours!!!). She was able to lift an incredibly dark color out of my hair (without frying my hair!) and gave me the most beautiful honey-blonde I've had. The cut is also incredibly flattering!
She was also quite fair with the pricing given how lengthy the appointment ran and how beautiful the final result was.
She evidently cares a LOT for her work and her clients. Her work ethic is clear and her skills are immediately obvious.
Will be uploading photos soon and will be back in 5 weeks (astounding, as I've never been able to commit to regular haircuts/color maintenance).
