Haddon Arms Apartments

I found dirty needles outside and on the building the first day I moved in. There is a constant electrical hum inside my unit 24/7. There's people smoking in the building and the management knows it and it's against the building policy. The next unit over from mine has people coughing and hacking most days from smoking drugs on their balcony. I keep smelling diesel exhaust in my unit. The tenant above stomps from 11pm to 2am and again at 530am everyday...I reported it to the manager and I was ignored. I find people smoking drugs on the property often ...the renovations were poorly done. Crooked counters and paint splashes. I think the government should implement mandatory building references from past tenants

Lived here for a few years. Building has always been kept clean and has been well maintained by staff and management.

This place has improved considerably under the new resident manager. The apartments are clean and was a decent affordable place to live.

Cockroches. Dog poo everywhere . Getto people . Worst experience ever . They cant even understand how to repair a toilet. They have fixed some of the doors. And the squatter hole ... but this place is a mad house. Cops all the time . Sketchy druggies everywhere . Getto kids , it looks like a day care in the court yard with eye sores, toys and bikes everywhere ... its ok because you'll see the kids rolling in the dog poop and pee.. so in a sense you get some sorta joy. These children will scream in your windows and hit your windows and hang out in the halls screaming together .Do not live in the far building as it has the most "action" regarding getto childern, but they do make their way to every building. The other 2 buildings have their own problems , booze, squatters, drugs . People getting in and will wreak the laundry room and hallways they will also sleep and use drugs here. The buildings are also made out of ply wood so you will HEAR every foot step and everytime someone "gets action" ....you don't even have to meet your neighbors to get to know them .. really ..cool.. i hate this place so much . Its disgusting. Like IKEA? well the kitchen and batheoom are made out of it . Counters are warped because they did not place them proporly and moisture seeps in to them . Yum yum . There are COCKROACHES and mice and ants and other creepy things that i didnt know existed untill living in this hell . Great location .. is it worth it?No . Also mainstreet goons are IDIOTS . Mainstreet equity is the worst property management company I have ever encountered. The Mainstreet individual who manages this particular building is unorganized, unprofessional and terrible at communication. She caused me so many problems during my 3 year tenancy in this building. I wouldn’t hesitate from telling anyone and everyone to avoid Mainstreet at all costs.

Amazing place. Close to everything you'd ever need. Groceries and coffee just up the hill, and trains/busses pretty much just outside. Buildings are nice inside and out. Good sized courtyard for the feeling of being at home. Love it

We moved in last may (2021) since then the building has never been so clean. Before it was cleaned maybe 1 or 2 times a week. Having a full time cleaner has made a huge difference. Thank you ! I also wanna let you know Jennifer our manager has been Amazing !! Very kind and helpful. Anytime I've needed something fixed or thought something might be off she has been super fast at taking care of it. She is easy to approach and always bubbly when we see her. Thank you !!

Super convenient as close to everything! Of course, given the location (CTrain station is a few steps away), there would be pros and cons, but it’s been more of the pros, thus it’s been very good so far for me and my family! Management is quite prompt and professional in addressing various concerns and in ensuring that everything is in working order in the bldg. They also make a point of cleaning and vacuuming the common premises regularly. The new bldg manager is also quite approachable and easy to talk to and she ensures that things are done, i find that there has been a ton of improvements to the place.
