It's incredibly helpful to have this affordable resource since we are not able to employ a full time handyman ourselves. We save up little projects until we have a full day's work, and the Handyman staff and volunteers come onsite and take care of everything. They are always professional and friendly and each little thing gets done well and on time. We'd be lost without them!
R	Robert Donko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Using the Habitat Handyman program was an opportunity for our family to utilize a program that we were familiar with. Known for quality, attention-to-detail work while supporting a great program and great people. Our project consisted of a basic 3-piece basement bathroom that had an existing builder rough-in. Unfortunately, our project had an assortment of challenges from the estimate to the final screw and I have intentionally waited a year to provide the review. Challenges included inconsistent estimates, lack of permits, recommendation to complete our project without the necessary building and electrical permits, the onus of permits and drawings falling on our shoulders, decisions made without our involvement, sub par construction and unattributable invoicing. Additionally, after a year deficiencies have become evident including a leaking shower pan, poor tiling, misaligned door (door will not stay open) and room temperature that is either too hot or too cold depending on the season due to an oversized register to list a few. In the end we were disappointed in the overall process and it took far too long to complete, our intent is not to deter anyone from using the program however to be cognizant and treat the process as you would with any other contractor especially if your project has any complexities.

They were wonderful to work with, Jared is the kind of person who lifts everyone's mood so it was really a delightful experience. I was very happy with the work that was done, and even afterward I had a few questions and Jared was happy to answer them promptly. I tell everyone about the Habitat Handyman program, and am looking at getting more work around the house done by them soon. You can't go wrong with them. Colleen
