Unless your looking at matching up or replacing something older it's kinda expensive I feel. I spent a fair bit of time looking around and found nothing I wanted to buy. The items that came close I felt we're overpriced. I understand it's a charity, but the items are all donated. I have donated money to them in the past. I didn't really see anything that would be worth restoring if that's your thing.

Even though Habitat for Humanity Restore can be a good resource for your home to buy for example, a fire extinguisher for a good reasonable price compared to Home Depot or Rona. I can’t say the same thing about the new senior management which screwed 55 families of realizing their β€œCanadian Dream” of being dignified homeowners. They changed the mortgage model two months before families were supposed to move. Meanwhile, these families worked blood, sweat and tears to complete their 500 hours of β€œsweat equity” as their down payment. Families have been waiting 2 years for this process to come to fruition. Where is the consideration and humanitarian effort on this matter? Shame on those who caused this inconsiderate hardship.

I was told to expect pickup of some appliances and hours after my appointment I called to see where they were and was told that they decided not to take them. I waited for hours with no word. Some of the appliances were under 5 years old and they weren't good enough? Poorly run, don't waste your time with this location.

Ouch. We used the store quite a bit, thinking our money was helping families. Please educate yourself and google the Edmonton branch and see how much debt they have and how the money has been squandered on everything but the family's home's. Please read and educate yourself and see if you want to continue to donate and use this organization on any level. Our family does not.

They follow you around everywhere as if they think your stealing from them and the prices of things is so high. I might as well buy it brand new from a real store.

Organization could use some work. But I know there is tons of stuff in and out of that place. So I won't go too hard on them. But maybe some bigger or more clear signage as to where things are?
