I have worked here for 5 years now.. I will remain here till I retire. I have only good things to say about H&R and the so very many improvements they have put into play including the pay for the drivers.

This company better go out of business. Rather than doing things the wrong way. Tooooo many layovers with no pay. Barb who is US planner just doesn’t know how to talk. She should get fired. This company has nothing which is positive but all negative things. Bad yards, bad trucks, bad employees

Definitely best place to drive from all big fleets in Canada. Dispatches, planers and safty stuff, are still human beings, what making driving just better. Specially for drivers who remember "old good times" and have a problem with find themselves in new reality. The professionalism of drivers is also higher ( a lot) then others big hwy companies.

After 3 months of working at H&R transport, here is what I have to say. H&R Transport is the most nurturing environment I have ever been in. I have never seen a culture where the manager and the team members are so understanding. H&R transport works as a open door office policy. You can come to the managers office anytime you feel like when you have an issue. It's something that I was never use to, but I getting accustomed to now. My team is a bunch of positive folks who actually genuinely try to help, of course there are good days and bad days, but no organization is perfect and this is definitely one of the better ones out there. In most workplaces, we always wish for a good manager, and I am glad i have the best one out there. My manager, Blaine, understands and supports me whenever required and always has time to listen to my queries. Myself being new in the organization, my manager is open to the idea of making mistakes and learning from it. This place has definitely been a great experience and I look forward to being here for a long time Thank you H&R Transport.

I've been with H&R for a year now. I started as a driver and moved into the office. As a driver I honestly never knew what a professional driver was until I start with H&R. They taught me more in their 3 day orientation then I have in my driving career. I love being part of the team in the training building and getting to know all of our new recruits. As well as having great mentors to learn from. I look forward to my future with H&R

I worked with H&R for two-ish years as a washbay attendant. The place may not have been perfect but it is definitely one of the best jobs I have had. My bosses were always fair, most drivers were very polite towards me and my partner. Sad to see that TransX is now in control of them. (Some people have said iHaul took over but they didn't). I wish I could have worked there longer.

This company has gone so much down in the last couple of years from 500 trucks to just maybe 200. I will tell you the reason why? There US planners don’t know how they should talk to the drivers to maintain a healthy conversation. They will never pick up your call, and will ask you to just message us on the satellite and their replies take hours, even if you are in an emergency situation. I will say all Fleet 3 needs some training of customer service. H&R likes giving waiting to the long haul drivers. Expect 2-3 days of waiting to get a pick up in the US. As planners are just dying to meet their targets to send to the US. But don’t care if they have enough loads to come back to Canada. Safeway and Costco have taken business off from them. As they just don’t know how to make preplan for drivers. And be ready to beg them for your layovers. And sometimes you won’t even get any waiting pay or layovers. As it’s their choice if they wanna give a layover or not. I worked them for 7 months. I asked them if they don’t have any work they can tell me so i can find another job. And a week later they emailed me that due to market conditions we have to terminate you. You can be as nice as you want to a company like this, but they don’t deserve drivers respect. As they don’t respect drivers at all. Their recruiter Hutch Thomas is a friendly guy. I will say the whole recruiting team is nice which includes Hutch, Blaine, Tracy and Brandy. I won’t recommend this company to anyone in my life. Better go for Bison or even TransX.
