A	A Wright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. No wifi. 3 not one but 3 trainees sit in on the tax prep. Why are they not trained before? Not a great place to go. Very small and creepy with trainees in this place. Don't go here none are knowledgeable. Plan on a visit being an hour or more as they are training people and that takes more time than the actual tax preparation. Jeez. The trainees just wont stop interfering when you get taxes done here. Oh and the trainer could not answer some simple questions I asked about taxes so they said please come back tomorrow. Incompetent. No excuse close this office. Never again will I return to ANY h and r block.

K	Kate Schlachter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good customer service is so very difficult to find these days and unfortunately I did not get it with H & R Block. I made an appointment to have my return done and my appointment was on the deadline day. I knew that I would most likely not get it filed that day. I was advised at the drop off that if it was not filed that day that my documentation would be delivered to Wye Road office and be completed there. I was fine with that. I just wanted to get it filed as quickly as I could after the deadline because I knew that I had to pay. I called the Wye Road office on Thursday of the next week because I had not heard anything. I was advised that it would be 3 to 4 weeks before they could even look at it and I asked why that was. I was told that they would only be open 2 days a week after the deadline. I asked why someone had neglected to tell me that as I would have gone elsewhere. I was told that “that was just decided”. No phone call to advise me … nothing!!! I had to call in order to find that out. So if you are waiting for a call about your tax return from this pathetic excuse of a business, I would suggest you pick up your documentation and go to Smarttax in Sherwood Park. You will not be disappointed!!! Shame on you H & R Block for your unprofessional conduct. You would think that a huge multinational corporation would have better ethics.

I came in, dropped off my T4’s to the lady at the front and she told me that they will contact me when my taxes have been done ( not doing in person due to Covid). Four days later I received a phone call to let me know that they were finished with me and that I could pick up my tax return. They were done a couple of days faster than I had expected and I received a nice return. Will be back next year.

If you need to get your taxes done I recommend seeing Nashwa for all your tax needs. Also Gale was very professional and warm. Awesome crew!! I will definitely keep going every year to see Nashwa to get my taxes done!!!!!!
