β β β β β Loved this place the first time and wanted to dine again at this restaurant before heading back to Florida. This time it's one at Woodbine and once again amazing. Our meal came out quickly, fresh and ready to grille. Our waitress was on top of everything. Next time in Toronto this is a must place to visit.

β β β β β The restaurant's name was Gyubee and it looks like Korean style Barbeque!!
They served quite good quality meat on the menu in the style that Koreans like in Korea. Ssamjang made with Korean soybean paste, lettuce, raw garlic, spicy raw chilli jalipino, kimchi, etc...
The restaurant was a place where you could order and eat unlimited meat. Beef, Pork, Chicken etc.
Thank you to my daughter's fiance for inviting me to this lunch today. At this event, my daughter and future son-in-law congratulated me on my recently celebrated birthday.

β β β β β I had a Friday night dinner here, and I have to say it's a pretty great BBQ restaurant. The only outstanding dishes are the Prime Kalbi, the marinated Short Rib, and the Creme Brulee; you have to order 15 of those to get your money's worth here. I have no idea how the lunch is worth ~$26 without those three options. The best word to describe everything else is tightness: the 2-hour limit is tight, and the seating and hallways are too tight. I would recommend Gyubee only for special occasions.

β β β β β Second or third experience between this location and Scarborough location. Great quality and service every time. Best items in my opinion - prime rib kalbi, garlic brisket, pork belly, ajillo (shrimp in like a buttery pesto garlic sauce with mushroom and tomatoes...we didn't know what it was and glad we found out). Take out options are fantastic too - our go to is the shabu tare and sukiyaki!

β β β β β Very lively atmosphere, food was decent but from the reviews I read before going it was a little overhyped. The meat was good, but I've had better, particularly at this price point, which was reasonable. One of the biggest appeals to this type of restaurant is cooking the meat to your liking, and in doing so we had a little bit of a fire going, didn't think it would be an issue given that it was a BBQ, but the staff asked us to not have a visible flame. They were very nice to also change the grills for us, but we were a little confused by their alarm at the fire. Especially because my companion for this particular visit was a chef, we had no concern regarding our grill management. Over all a very positive experience but I still feel it was over hyped.

β β β β β Just wanted to take a moment to compliment the service we received from Billy this evening. He was super busy, and the restaurant was at capacity, and he was fantastic! I appreciate Billy who does a great job, and handled our table with a perfect display of relaxed competence. Well done!

β β β β β Great atmosphere and really lovely staff. We ate here the last day before dine in restrictions came into effect. No long wait times and the service was super speedy. The garlic beef is my favorite off the menu but honestly you can't go wrong with this place.

β β β β β First time to eat out since pandemic. I would give 4.8 for this place. Good food, Good service,Good experience...I was bit surprised such good service. They were monitoring each table. If they saw you almost finished your food, they will come right away to ask if you need more. And also, real fast to delivery food. Overall, we will visor again for sure....
