M	Maria John on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food! The tonkatsu ramen is exactly what you need on a cold winter day! The grilled chashu is buttery smooth and literally falls apart in your mouth ? the prices are also very fair for how much food you get!

We are the first customer but the restaurant is half full 15 minutes after we get in. This is our First time having Katsu.so we ask a few questions and the lady is very helpful. We ordered the new items carbo curry Katsu and brown Katsu. Food come out very first so it is good if you have limited time during lunch hour. Both Katsu we order are amazing. Pork is tender and juicy! Curry sauce is rich and tasty! In my opinion, one order is good for 2 people. Food Portion is fair in compare to their price. They are very busy with take out order during our visit so that prove that they are popular. I will come back and try other items on the menu for sure!

I also requested a side of the carbo curry sauce! Everything was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge - I definitely had to take some of it home. However, I do wish you get more rice with it so the meat to rice ratio is even lol. Highly highly recommend!! This place is amazing ?

It's a small restaurant located in First Markham Place shopping centre. We had to wait about 15 minutes to get a seat. They have partition walls on wheels to ensure safe dining Now the food. We ordered 3 items. 1. Cheese stick Tonkatsu $17.95 2. Shrimp and fish set $15 95 3. Sonoya Jjamppong Ramen $14.99 Cheese stick tonkatsu consists of crispy pork cutlet stuffed with mozzarella cheese. Served with coleslaw, corn, calrose rice. There is original Brown katsu sauce and cranberry sauce served on the side. I love their homemade bread crumbs which is different from panko crumbs. Every bite had juicy pork cutlet and gooey cheese. Match made in heaven. My wife got the shrimp and fish set served with tartar sauce and original Brown katsu sauce. The shrimps were massive long strips. There were 5 shrimps and 1 fish cutlet. Shrimps had a fresh crunchy texture and dipped in Brown katsu sauce made it reach new heights. We also ordered this seafood ramen bowl which consists of mussel, squid tentacles, calamari rings and tiger shrimps served in a spicy pork bone broth. Wow, nice heat for a great bowl of ramen on a cold day. Give this place a try if you're in the area. You won't regret it. Parking lot is huge but you might have trouble finding a close spot.

It didn't take much time to order, but to get it we had to wait around 40-50 mins. The portions were good enough considering the price. I had such high expectations, the ramen had no flavor, literally bland despite dipping it fully in the broth provided and the meat wasn't that great too. The fishcake smell was pretty strong too. Maybe it isn't my type of food. The staff was really friendly. I will try it out again once the lockdown restrictions are removed , hopefully soon.

Would definitely recommend to others to try. I also believe this location is the best in terms of food and service.

I ordered spice level 2, was a bit too spicy for me so I'd recommend people try level 1 unless they are accustomed to spicier East Asian food. Served tea to everyone for free which was also a big plus. Will definitely come by again if I am in the area and craving fried chicken.

They are super popular so we waited for an hour to be seated. This was the first time I have been here. The service was fast, and the staff were super friendly and nice . The food came out pretty quickly, and the portion sizes were huge, and the prices are very fair. 3 out of 5 of us were only able to finish half our dish. The food was amazing, might have been the best Katsu I have ever had. The Katsu was so crispy! I would definitely go back, it was worth the wait.
