★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was there the weekend before last and it was beautiful, the beach was combed and quiet! I think less people know about it so its a lot less crowded then Aspen beach or maybe due to a little longer drive to the west side of the lake. Either way its worth the drive, they have a nice shower and change room so no worries there. I never made it to the boat launch but it didnt look to busy. I would definitely recommend heading out there sometime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beach was well groomed and maintained. It was busy, but as the beach is quite large it didn't seem crowded. Has a small playground and water feature (not currently turned on likely due to covid). I only give 3 stars though because the water was very gross. Lots of green, scummy and see-through blobbish material (seaweed or algae?). Closest to the shore was the worst but even further out wasn't pleasant. I normally am not too picky and will let the kids swim in anything but this was gross enough I was concerned. So if your kids want to dig in the sand and play, come here. But if you want to swim maybe try somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice clean, shallow, sandy beach with lots of parking. Nice shower/change facility on the beach, ample parking and a playground with water table right on the beach. Would be nice to have amenities to purchase on site.

We got here and there was someone grooming the beach with a tractor, and you can tell everything is very well taken care of.
We took our dog, who enjoyed himself. There were several other well behaved dogs on leash as well. It wasn't super busy, which was nice.
