They offered me a house to live in when I didn't have one. I'm quite happy with how things work with them. My hot water heater starting leaking and after I called housing, they sent out a plumber. Tomorrow I'll be getting a new water heater. ?

I'm only giving one star because there's no option for 0 stars, I've never been treated so horribly in my life, never insulted so much, never made to feel like I was as worthless as Sylvia Malone made me feel, and I'm not the only one, it amazes me that a Woman hated by 90% of the tenants still has her job, a Woman that insults and harasses tenants out of what seems to be her joy of belittling those who aren't as fortunate as her. I live in a building surrounded by drug addicts, many of whom have found better housing through Sylvia, because why give the good tenants a better place to live when you can give a Woman who stole from me a new place, a Woman who had the police here daily, with an abusive boyfriend who she kept letting in this building, somehow she was a better fit than any of the tenants in here who've never caused an issue, Sylvia's bias isn't exactly hidden. Out of everyone she's allowed to move into a better place, I can't think of a single Male that has been allowed, yet I can think of multiple Females who were horrible tenants, thieves, drug addicts and more, at this point I've come to expect she'll do the wrong thing. P.S also the Man who was supposed to take complaints about these housing employees, was a complete jerk to me on the phone, insulting me multiple times, His name is Harry Blinkhorn and he's a very insulting Man with no compassion for those in housing, he honestly sounds like he hates his job and everyone he deals with. So those are just a few reasons why I'm giving GPH 1 star, there are many more, just remember if you are a Male you'll be treated like trash by Sylvia, and ignored by Harry, and unless you are a Female, they'll make you wait 3 times longer than anyone else will wait for housing, I know people with kids who have been waiting over 2 years, all while drug addicts and Woman get in after 3 months.

I have to say that I did have to jump through a few hoops to get a unit. I pay full rent in a subsidized housing building. The Superintendent does a good job but sometime I think he is doing more repairs when he should be cleaning more. Repairs are done quickly but some repairs to common areas take awhile to do. I have dealt with Sylvia Malone and she is very respectful and kind. She returns my calls promptly.
