He helped me heal GI issues and related skin issues such as eczema and psoriasis within a few weeks. Recently, when my family doctor was unable to help with an on-going stomach issue, Dr. Matt quickly identified it as a parasite and I was able to get it resolved. He is extremely knowledgeable but most importantly, he listens and cares.

My family doctor ran several tests and helped me understand some of what was going on, but there was no clear path forward on how to resolve the issues. I found navigating google and trying to figure out what to do on my own was not helpful. There is so much conflicting and contradictory information online. I began seeing Dr. Matt Gowan. He did a thorough intake and took care to understand the various challenges I was having. He reviewed the many medical tests ordered by my family doctor and quickly helped me sort out and prioritize the issues. He worked with me to develop a clear and achievable action plan. This included sharing his knowledge, answering my many questions, providing excellent advice on diet and lifestyle changes to support healing and wellness, and setting up a tracking process for accountability and to measure results. He also started me on some herbs and recommended specific vitamins to take. Today, I feel significantly better, and most of my issues have been resolved. I continue to see Dr. Gowan to maintain these gains and continue living well and being healthy. Thank you Dr. Gowan!

This guy truly knows how to listen to somebody and digs deep to uncover multiple solutions that will work for you! I have Gilbert’s Syndrome and recently discovered I have a lot of foods that my body is sensitive to and Matt was able to lessen my symptoms entirely with herbs and guidance on what foods I should avoid. It will take no time at all for Matt to give you the help that you need as long as you are applying his recommendations and looking after yourself. Thank you Matt for everything!

Instead of prescribing a lot of extra supplements, he addressed the issue of continued inflammation. He is a great advocate for good nutrition equaling good health, and helps in making proper food choices to meet individual needs. Thanks to Dr. Matt I am planning to travel again.

He was very knowledgeable of Gastro issues and set me up with testing, a plan and follow up and always accessible for questions which I found a nice surprise! All my appts were done via Zoom and email- worked really well. Within 5 months I went from daily GI discomfort, dizziness, joint aches, and anxiety to feeling like myself again- Bowels and tummy doing great and I feel like I can rely on my body again and can make plans again. I have worked very hard at all his suggestions which is key to your success. I will continue to follow up as needed with Matt and highly recommend this very nice clinic of reception staff that are friendly and always easy to help you!

She recommended a few tests and clearly walked me through what the results signalled, as well as what long and short term adjustments I needed to make.
