Grizzly provided amazing service. They came quickly to disconnect our gas stove. Brad was knowledgeable and explained the procedure. We are so grateful for this company. In the past they have installed a toilet and fixed a leak from our bathtub.

We've used Grizzly several times over the years and find them to be quite responsive, professional and trustworthy. They are very upfront with costs and quotes, show up when they say they will, take the time to explain what they are doing and why and CLEAN! They always put on and take off boot covers as they come and go from our home while working. (Not to mention masked at all times) They also cleaned up the work site when done. They will always be our first call.

They do it right! We are repeat customers and committed to Grizzly for all of our plumbing and heating needs. Our situation is complicated: a sump pump with a back up system, an on-demand water heater/ boiler that was previously installed without the necessary drain, and water pipes that had been installed in an outside wall causing them to freeze each winter. While working through several problematic issues, COVID caused all work to stop. Yet when Brad returned, despite the 18 month pause, he managed to remember every detail. Work with the Grizzly guys is always pleasant. They are exceedingly patient with answering questions and explaining the options. We are especially impressed with Brad’s approach to determine the cause of a problem — he’s a first-class detective. And in every instance, he pays close attention to the cost implications for the home owner. We highly recommend Grizzly: they know what they’re doing, they do it right, they try to keep costs down, and they are genuinely nice guys. What more can you ask for?

We had an intermittent kitchen faucet leak, and couldn't figure out the source and/or if it was the sign of a future big problem. Grizzly took our call promptly on the holiday weekend, was clear on their availability and set expectations. When they arrived here, they were polite, upbeat, professional, explained things well and resolved the issue swiftly. I will continue to heartily recommend Grizzly for plumbing repairs. Have not used them for other services, but would consider them with confidence based on their plumbing expertise.

Kyle and the team at Grizzly came highly recommended by a neighbor and they lived up to every expectation. The team helped us on two occasions assessing and repairing our basement drains and basement plumbing. Kyle was extremely professional, courteous and provided a clear assessment and repair plan. The team were also courteous and professional and worked extremely well together, efficiently exposing and repairing our basement drain. Clear explanations were provided in an ongoing manner and the work was completed on time and on budget. After finishing, the detailed cleanup was amazing. Grizzly Plumbing replaced our home boiler and water heater. The installers were very professional. The price was very competitive, the workmanship was stellar, they completed the project on time and cleaned up everything when they finished. The best part of the job was the "clean" install, the running of all the pipes is very neat and the job freed up a great deal of space in our basement.

I have used Grizzly Plumbing for many years now for all my plumbing needs. Initially Brad (owner) installed all the plumbing needs for a brand new kitchen. This included plumbing for the kitchen sink, water line to new refrigeration unit with ice cube and water outlet, and importantly a gas line from the front of the house to the rear, connecting a new gas stove in the kitchen. In other words, everything one could want. For the current job, I took advantage of the Enbridge Home Efficiency Rebate, to replace an old gas driven Slant Fin boiler (taking up a lot of space in the basement) with a much more energy efficient boiler-water tank combination to supply the hot water radiator heating system as well as hot faucet water. As this is a 3 storey Victorian house, it previously required an additional electrical water tank heater to supply hot faucet water to one of the floors. The new system was an energy efficient boiler, with a steel Indirect Storage tank. The job required removal of the old heating system and pipes, including the electrical water tank heater. The installation required re-routing water lines and fitting the new system in a space saving configuration against the side wall of the basement. See pictures - old & new. Grizzly Plumbing also upgraded the old mercury containing manual thermostat located on the first floor, with a Google Nest thermostat that can be fully controlled from a phone App. Needless to say Brad and his team did an excellent job in a timely manner. We no longer run out of hot water and can control the heating of our home remotely.

These guys are fantastic. They came recommended from a neighbour; now I recommend onward. When Calvin first came out to sort out an exploded basement drain he spent ages working it, having to eventually really go to town on the thing. Earned his money that day I can tell you. (Note in the first pic that as he was working the drain I had all my books and pictures around. No worries. Neat and clean. So good.) Then, when they came back to do the back water valve (which was the problem - getting the old building trap out of there [the fact that I know my vocab is thanks to them talking me through the whole thing]) they were quick, highly professional and friendly. Helped navigate the city rebate too. Great work. Great team. Great human beings. Really awesome.
