I had a diamond pendant from my mother and an old diamond ring that I wanted to make into a functional diamond pendent that could be worn in a couple different ways. David came up with a design that was exactly how I wanted it to be! We had multiple meetings to go over the design, the budget and I even traded in some of my old gold. David and his team were patient with my requests and took my ideas seriously, guiding me step-by-step with expert advice. Needless to say, when my husband wanted a matching wedding band, we went back to Grimson & Sons. Moreover, I added a pair of matching earrings to my engagement ring to the order :D Grimson & Sons didn't disappoint and I got so many compliments on the jewelry on my wedding day. I highly recommend David and his team to anyone who is looking for quality, value and unique design in their custom jewelry.

Erica was amazing at communicating with us and getting back to us very quickly. From Erica coordinating via email, to my interaction with David, I would whole heartedly recommend this company. David replaced a missing CZ from a ring in under 10 minutes and didn’t even charge me! I was floored! I shared this story with my brother, who unbeknownst to me, had his wife’s wedding band custom made by David this summer. My dad also mentioned Grimson had made a custom birthstone ring for my mum in the 80s! Turns out Grimson & Sons is my family’s jeweller and should be yours as well :)

My fiance and I went to a couple jewellers in downtown Vancouver and none of them offered the same level of service and expertise as David, who actually makes your custom pieces in-house, rather than ship it off elsewhere to be made by an external party. We are so in love with my engagement ring and we are definitely getting our wedding bands from Grimson and Sons!

Selecting our diamond was one of the most enjoyable experiences of our wedding planning to date, David was so helpful at explaining the types of diamonds and how they were assessed and priced. We didn’t have the largest budget out there and never felt as though that was a barrier to getting what we wanted. He was able to design the most stunning ring that perfectly fit my mother’s ring. And also was able to fit and clean up my mother’s ring so it looks brand new. Everything was completed in only 3 weeks, and the price was even lower than what we had expected at the end of the day. Grimson & Sons will be our family jeweller moving forward. Such a lovely and talented team and an absolute dream to work with!

The entire team at Grimson & Sons (including their adorable mini-guard dog, Tink) are not only professionals and masters of their craft, but genuine people that take a keen interest in your goals. My fiancée and I did A LOT of research and consultations, and David and his team were the clear choice. We were looking to re-design family heirlooms for our suite of wedding/engagement bling, so working with a jeweler who had the skillset to work with heirloom pieces confidently was important to us. Of all the jewelers we visited (5), David was the only business owner who could assess our existing rings, goldsmith our new rings, and provide us with a reasonable quote for our vision on the spot. The moment we shook David's hands and noticed the signs that he clearly gets them dirty (aka actually works with the jewelry) we were sold.
