R	Rehana Rafiq on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible Food items and Experience ever… Total waste of your hard worked money. This review is totally my personal experience. Any one can disagree. I saw some rude comments form management under bad reviews, so no one has to agree with me but I really want to warn people to not spend money here, its not worth. I heard the Ad on Red FM radio and was excited to hear that there is an east Indian buffet. I went with my family for dinner Buffett. To my disappointment its name is “Grill on 26” but none of the items was grilled. Buffet has “ONLY ONE MEAT DISH”which was beef curry. Honestly tasteless as ever Fish pokoray was another item which is considered as meat i think Rest is all daal, vegetables and spaghetti which taste like putting boiled noodles in raw milk For drinks there is just water in jugs on side with styrofoam cups. Nothing else. Naan were the ones exactly the one you buy in bulk from Costco and not freshly made Even cheapest east Indian restaurants serve freshly baked nans on side , kheer was exactly when you cook rice in water and add milk on top thats it and this was the only desert. So its not worth your money at all

Would live to visit there any time i got a chance to. This was the first party we did in here and everybody in the house loved it and decided to do more events at this place.
L	Lynn Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly, I would comment on the persons giving negative reviews, believing that they must have made a wrong turn, attending a different restaurant than the real Grill on 26. Having eaten there several times while vacationing in Calgary, this restaurant has been awesome in every measure with the service to be professional and caring and the food to be beyond expectation! Having been completely impressed with staff, manager and food, I would, without a shred of doubt, highly recommend Grill on 26 to anyone.
L	Leo Ogbeide on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff who work here are all really friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent. Food was well cooked, and everything was clean. The staff were super friendly and professional, and treated me, my wife and my toddler with respect. That alone deserves 5 stars.

What a lovely experience, we arrived in the evening and went to the lounge to have a few drinks and was served by the sweetest server Sylvie and the food manager was great too, we were there till last call so we all had a good time chatting away with the live entertainment Al Bennet! In the morning we had a great breakfast, and got to see our sweet server again! The hotel is clean and quite and we will definitely be back !!

Clean, well staffed, fresh food made with little oil and tons of flavour. Many choices in the menu, lots of vegetarian dishes as well as halal chicken/goat dishes. Plenty of choices for kids as well, mild spices in almost everything so very kid friendly. We came on a night with a dance/karaoke night going on, it was a lot of fun with music and dancing in the background. We enjoyed our night out plenty, would recommend for fresh, light, flavourful halal food.
C	Cole Lowenstien on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before being sent to Calgary (for work) my coworkers warned me of the diner at the Rivera Hotel many described the place as inadequate and poorly managed. Through experiencing it first hand, I am sad to say that the Grill on 26 absolutely shocked me. Firstly, when trying to order my meal I was standing at the door for around 10 minutes before being greeted and served by a waitress. The establishment seems poorly managed considering the waiters are unable to preform the basic tasks of their job. The manager/owner seems rude and unqualified to be running this place. When I asked if I could have some extra ranch I was charged $4 which is extremely overpriced and plain idiotic. The owner/ manager's poor attitude was uncalled for and extremely unacceptable. I'd also like to make note that the food is only adequate- do not waste your time and well-earned money dining here. I recommend Cactus Club which is only a few short minutes away from the hotel. Their "Free Breakfast" is also extremely laughable it consists of a granola bar and a juice box. We were also asked to pay $5 for another free breakfast because the hotels information said that there was only one person staying in our room. This establishment is a complete JOKE!!
L	Lindsay Tessier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunate experience. We ordered take out here and asked for the soup, when my partner picked up the food they forgot the soup. The website was down and there prices were not up to date. We were charged a significant amount more than expected. When we called back about this the manger I spoke to constantly dismissed me and spoke over me. Nothing was done to rectify the issue. Minus the negative experience the food was decent. The tacos were good, but not worth the price. Don't get the chicken wings they are very small. I would recommend to call ahead and clarify the price before ordering.
