The team from Green Drop planted a City boulevard replacement tree in front of our yard quickly and efficiently.Great job...it was raining too! Thanks to: Brendan, Rip, Mitch and Jake etc. Hope it makes it through the winter!

I paid for weed control, and while this company was responsive in the beginning, the manager didn’t bother responding my emails asking about the “guaranteed” services that I paid for and didn’t receive. Summer came and went and I was still left with considerable weeds. Some guarantee. Totally poor. The fact that they keep sending me promotional emails is offensive, as I would never pay this company again.

Green Drop has done a Fantastic job on Kylemore Ave. Trees are being maintained to Healthy condition. Thank you Harley for doing a Professional job on Saturday. Very Approachable and Polite to talk too. Take Care Guys! 5 Stars

Green Drop Arborists removed a very old diseased oak tree from our yard. Unfortunately the space was very confined and they were not able to bring in a bucket truck. They sent in an excellent crew with two skilled climbers, Terry and Amy. The tree was taken down piece by piece. The climbers were supported by a ground crew, James and Thomas. When the job was done, the team did a meticulous job of cleaning up the area. We were extremely happy with the job they did and would like to thank them again for their professional workmanship. We would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again. Tom & Joanne Prins

We had Terry, Don, Breann, Kol come to our residence to remove a very large 100 year old Elm tree that was diseased. They did an amazing job leaving no mess. They had to remove my temporary fence for access and re-built it that same day without any issues. Very Professional, would highly recommend.

Martin who is with Green Drop.tree service , and is a neighbour of mine, came to help me as a tree in my front yard fell in the high winds. I am handicapped and wondered how I would be able to tackle my tree that was now blocking my street. Martin with chainsaw in hand came to the rescue and cut up the tree so the street was clear. The next day Martin came with a tree chipper and cleaned up the tree. I can’t thank Martin enough for coming to my rescue. Thank-you very much Martin

Unfortunately my experience was similar to Chirhiro’s. I found a note in my mailbox asking me to call for an appointment to remove a tree infected with Dutch elm disease. I called the same day, during business hours, but the phone was not answered, and they did not call back. That was a Friday in December 2021. (I have waited for my anger to cool before writing this review.) I was working from home at this time. In the morning of the Monday following, they were at my door to inform me that removal of the diseased tree would take place immediately or I would be charged $1000. I clearly told them that they did not have my permission to start immediately (permission form the homeowner is a condition of their contract with the city). I asked them to wait until the next day, so I could make arrangements for the use of the wood, stripped of the bark so as not to spread the disease. He suggested they take the crown, since the crew was already in the yard. I agreed, and clearly stated that they did not have permission to take down the tree. They pretended to listen and agree, bit the tree was down in short order. The wood, with the exception of 3 cookies, was removed. Parts of the tree were burned on the riverbank. Their equipment would not have been idle if they had waited the day, since they were cutting other trees on the street for a few days after. I need to add that the crew did a good job, did no damage, and cleaned up well afterward. I feel that the tree, an old friend that graced the yard and hosted the tire swing, was stolen from us, without opportunity to arrange for a memento. I also wonder if the tree would have simply disappeared if I had not been home to speak to the workers. In sum, you do not want to deal with this company. They have shown that will pretend to make an arrangement with you, and break the agreement to suit themselves. You don’t need the aggravation this will cause. The lowest possible rating is 1 star.

The crew Terry, Thomas and Harley from Green Drop did a great job in March 2022 trimming back my birch tree and the other tree on my property. They were very courteous and did as requested. I was impressed with the work being done even with all of the snow in my yard.
