I have lived in a building manged by this company for many years. They are excellent landlords. They address problems promptly and the apartments are well-kept and affordable, I highly recommend them.

My senior parents resided in one of this groups properties and when my mother passed away, my father decided to move. Post dated cheques were provided to some "partner" group and two days after the move out, they went ahead and cashed the last remaining cheque - instead of refunding or returning the actual cheque. The damage deposit was returned within 10 days, however it has since been returned NSF and we have been charged for that as well. Now my 86 year old father is out the rent, the damage deposit and has been charged for the NSF cheque. MY opinion is they are not above board as we are trying to recoup with no satisfaction 2 months later. To be accurate and fair..UPDATE: After threat of legal action, this was resolved.

I pay all of the required fees and they never clean/pickup the garbage at my storefront as they promise. Many street people always gather around my storefront leaving trash everywhere. It is this Great West's responsibility to take care of this, and they never do. I have to clean it up myself and for some reason I still have to pay the fees... what? Very disappointed. Perhaps they are just bullying me and like to give me a hard time :(

The owner of this establishment is very rude. I was at a business managed by him and I saw him being very aggressive and yelling at his tenant before rudely storming off even though the tenant was being gentle and polite. There was also another occasion when I heard him screaming at the tenant over the phone and then he loudly slammed down the phone, refusing to even let his client speak. I was standing at least 8 feet away from the phone, but I could hear what he was screaming about. Incredibly disrespectful, rude, and condescending. He is a bad person. I know I am not a client of this establishment, but it is mind-boggling how the owner treats others. Very inappropriate and unprofessional, in my opinion. Update: after looking on the company's Linkedin, I can confirm that the man I saw yelling at his tenant is "Rick". Thank you.

Literally heard Rick (our landlord) yell at my boss over the phone and abruptly end the phone call with a loud smack before the conversation was even done. I've never seen someone be so unprofessional and ill-mannered in my life. My colleagues and I were incredibly disturbed by him. It's always like this, though. He never treats anyone with an ounce of respect and is so arrogant and cocky and can never take any form of constructive feedback. I'm not kidding when I say some of my fellow employees (including myself) wince and get anxious when he stops by. Lisa is okay though. At least she treats others with respect and always greets me when she comes by. Side note: PLEASE do not bother asking me to remove this review. It appears that you are misunderstanding the purpose of reviews. People spend time writing their experiences with your establishment, and asking them to remove them is absurd and somewhat offensive and defeats the whole purpose of what reviews are for. Thanks.

Never had any problems with management. We've rented part of a duplex for over 2 years now and Rick has always responded to concerns very fast and is quite on top of things. Not many places would rent to young couples but they gave us a chance and we appreciate it. we try hard to be good tenants and not bother the landlord too much. Scott is super friendly and quite good at what he does. when he comes around he always has a brief chat with us to see how were doing which makes us feel welcome.

Glad I'm not the only person who finds the owner to be incredibly obnoxious and hostile. I've seen Rick being so unreasonably antagonistic to my daughter and her partner and we are so disturbed. We seriously are concerned that he has some anger-management issues – it's really bad and he is consistent. I don't see why managing a property gives you the authority to be so bitter. By the way, don't bother asking me to remove this review. It will be pointless. And frankly, asking people to remove their reviews with your company is slightly embarrassing because it really shows the public that you cannot take any negative feedback. If you are going to be rude and hostile, then maybe don't be so surprised when you get negative reviews? Or maybe I will remove my review when you remove the glowing one that you wrote about yourself. Thank you, appreciate it.
