Very bad customer service. Also have to visit them again and again for the same issue for my brand new 2020 honda. This is encouraging me to get rid of Honda from my parking lot.Very disappointing.

Beware going to this location if you have Honda. Looks like they have paid reviews on google. Save your car, time and $$ going there. Worst management team. I wish I could give negative for their worst service.

Big shout out to Great Lakes Honda and Honda Canada for their kindness and consideration in doing the right thing. I have a 2015 Honda Fit that, at the relatively low mileage of 57,000 km., started making a rather loud chirping/grinding sound during the first few seconds of startup. It ended up being diagnosed as a bad VTC actuator, apparently a common problem with some Honda Fit and CRV model years. If not addressed, the issue can lead to catastrophic engine failure. As the vehicle is 7 years old, the issue did not qualify for warranty repair. Despite that, Honda decided to replace the VTC free of charge, which saved a four-digit $ repair. If you have a Honda that's making this noise on start-up, for your personal safety, bring the issue to Honda's attention. They might take care of it for you. There is a Technical Service Bulletin distributed in the USA (bulletin 16-088; Jan. 31, 2017) pertaining to the VTC issue for all Honda Fits made in 2015 and 2016 (more than a quarter million cars). So, if you have a Fit from those two model years, and its making a crazy noise on start-up, bring it in. Don't bring it to Mr. B.C. in dealership administration, as he's rather by-the-book, and conservative regarding expired warranties. He was not motivated to take the issue to Honda Canada. HOWEVER, my experience with the Service Dept. was exactly the opposite. They were very kind. They listened, and did what they could to work through the issue with Honda Canada. They succeeded in achieving an excellent resolution. From this, I learned something about Honda (it IS a quality company), and hopefully B.C learned something as well.

Just wanted to share what an awesome sales experience I had with Meghan at Honda. As a first time car buyer, she was incredibly patient, kind and educational. She never talked down to me, breezed over things, or acted like my questions were stupid. She explained how payments and warranties worked very clearly. Plus, Meg just gets what women want in a car. She pointed out the features that were important and didn’t spend time on things I didn’t care about. Honestly, it was so different from every other dealership where (sorry boys) men would lock me in rooms with their bosses, point me to things I didn’t care about, try to sell me the most expensive β€˜sport’ version of a vehicle available, etc. If you are a first time car buyerβ€”or a woman just weirded out by the car sales processβ€”you MUST see Meg! Due to chip shortages/lack of supply, and my urgent need for a car, I ended up going with something used elsewhere. Meg was so happy for me, and I was so much more knowledgeable and prepared thanks to her when I went to the other dealerships. I can’t thank her enough for helping me, and in a few years when I go to trade in + lease something new, I will be going to Meghan at Honda first!

Right from my first phone call to Great Lakes Honda, I knew I was in good hands.Β  Kevin, Mat and Gord are a knowledgeable & dynamic team who made my first ever remote vehicle purchase a stress-free and enjoyable endeavor.Β  There was excellent communication from the team throughout the entire process (phone calls, text msg and emails) and I always felt informed every step of the way. Although I live 8+ hours away from this dealership,Β  I would absolutely purchase a vehicle from Great Lakes Honda again.
