★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great local market! That hasn't changed! With a few more shopping trips into the market I've changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. The staff are courteous, knowledgable and service oriented. Management is top notch and on the pulse of the community. The stores' product line is packed with unique quality items not found elsewhere plus your basic staple market items. Fruits and veggies are well stocked, fresh, locally grown and sourced. Fresh local meats and marinated meals to make at home are available PLUS a FANTASTIC selection of in-house made sandwiches and to go meals ready to gobble up. Not to mention the in house baking--really outstanding. Need a quick treat? Check out their Temptation Island filled with a grand selection of packed up goody bags and snacks. There is also a wonderful selection of organic and allergy sensitive grocery items as well. Spices, dried fruits, nuts and chocolates from around the world abound. This where east meets west and nothing but the best! Truly a gem in the Cowichan Valley!

The store is clean and organized and offers a good variety of healthy food choices with a focus on organic products and fresh local produce. The staff are friendly and product knowledgeable.
