Nothing exciting as the tour guide takes you out around the pier for a short 30 min tour. However, the owner is always hanging out chatting with customers and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. The boats are beautiful and very clean. Definitely recommend for someone visiting Vancouver for the first time. Parking is a pain! Street parking is your best bet, and make sure you put enough for two hours as you might not get on the first boat available during peak hours.

Appalling company. We had a day trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens which got cancelled half way through the day as the bus broke down. We got stuck at the ferry port as the bus wouldn't start up again. Although these things can't be helped, the company took so long to take action it took hours for replacement buses to be provided that the tour had to be abandoned and the guests returned to their hotels. So we lost our first day in Vancouver, having only seen the inside of a bus and a ferry port. During the time we were stuck, the communication from our driver was non-existent and the organisation from the company was very poor. The next day, we tried to do the hop on hop off bus, which is owned by the same company. There were huge queues for the buses at each stop and very long wait times to get on the buses, because they only had 6 in operation for the whole city! After waiting 45 minutes for each bus to come, and failing to get on two buses because they were already full, we cancelled our tickets and decided to walk instead.

Went on a day trip to Vancouver Island we knew it would be a long day but not to the extent we spent 7 hours travelling and only 1hr 45 at Buchart Gardens and 1hr 40 in Victoria which we didn't get to see any of as by the time we had found somewhere to eat we had to get back on the coach. The length of the tour needs extending by two hours of you intend to keep running it. Our driver Kevin was brilliantly funny even though he had a few unfortunate mishaps so well done to him ?

We took the Capilano Bridge & Grouse Mountain Tour. Andy was our guide. I would highly recommend this tour and the Gray Line Westcoast Sightseeing Company. They were right on time picking us up at our hotel and delivering us back to the hotel after the tour. Andy was very knowledgeable and made sure we knew what we could do at each of the stops. He actually walked around with us for the first 15 minutes at each stop to show us around.

This is the second time our family has booked the same tour from downtown Vancouver to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. What we appreciate most about it is that if you are based in Vancouver, there are so many moving parts and uncertainty to time it well enough to get all the way to the island and experience both places. Gray Line has the timing down wonderfully, and provides what feels like the perfect balance of time at the gardens and in the capital. The coach is clean, the ferry ride is pleasant (i know Gray Line doesn't control that part, but still), and this time around our tour guide Herman kept our group entertained, informed, and knowing what to expect for each leg of the trip.

Great fun going on the hop on hop off bus and a great way to learn about the city and it’s different areas. We were sad so many things like the castle are only open on a weekend and we suggest walking the grounds anyways and taking in the park at Government house while up there, but everything else was great!
