Thank you Dale and Cecil for a fantastic and informative tour of Montreal. Cecil is funny and has a great energetic personality- she made us laugh and provided us with great historical information. Dale our driver was very sweet and provided us with the directions to our hotel as well. It's a fun ride, especially if u are in Montreal for a day or two. It gives u an overview of Montreal. It is a bit expensive, however I think it is worth the money as you can hop on and off at any of the stops, which makes it easier to travel and see attractions on foot as well. Also, you can use the pass for two days. I would recommend this tour for all visitors.

We took the Montreal at Night tour and it was amazing. We're here without a vehicle so it was money well spent. In 90 minutes we saw so much. The open air double-decker bus was perfect on a warm summer night. I highly recommend this tour.

What a Great way to get to see and enjoy the beautiful city of Montreal! The tour guides did a really good job explaining the different places and storylines. The fare is worth it for a two days touring. Of all the tour guides Rene was one of the best. He knows the area very well and spoke up to 3 different languages. I loved his interaction with the passengers to get to know where they are from and comparing that with the city of Montreal. Overall I had a great two days riding hopping on and off this bus.

I got charged US$106 for a tour which was only worth CAD$130. I booked online in Montréal and I was charged even more that what they were charging me in the hotel. I called the office and asked to be refunded the difference but they said that since I booked it online, I could not. It’s even cheaper on Expedia. Having said that DO NOT buy from Gray line. You’re better off getting yours from Expedia or the hotels. Beware buying tours online from Gray line.

I went on a full day tour with this company to Quebec City from Montreal today and things looked ominous the day before, but Gray Line pulled through. Their office phone lines were down the day before my trip, which gave me some concerns as I needed to confirm and give them a pick up address. I shot them an email as a last resort and it turned out their office phones were having problems, but they were responsive once I sent an email. The ~13 hour day trip was great with Richard doing the ~2.5 hour drive between Montreal and Quebec City and the driving in the city itself. He drove well, which isn't an easy thing to do in a gigantic bus in cities like Montreal or Quebec City, and provided some commentary between Montreal and picking up the local guide and did the same with returning us. He spoke English well and made a point to get to know a little about each of the groups on the bus. Our local guide was Roc/Rock/how ever your spell it in French. He did a great job and while this might seem a little silly, his presentation and level of knowledge about Quebec City reminded me of Dr. Grant from the film Jurassic Park, but in a good way and without scaring you about dinosaurs or anything. He was really passionate about Quebec City and did a great job of showing us what our options for the ~3.5 hours of free time would be before turning us loose to explore old town Quebec City.

This is the first bus that I've been in that neither has clearly marked bus stops, a time table or an accurate route map. You're left guessing when and where the bus stops. The guide of the hop on hop off tour was knowledgeable, but it didn't matter, as it was impossible to understand what she was saying, as the ancient sound system could not be heard over the sounds of the city. For what we payed, it was probably better to just take an Uber and have them give us a tour of the city. If the company could update their systems to 2022 instead of the early 90s it'd be a great tour, and an interesting way to get around the city. But until then, avoid like the plague.

This tour is great to get a snapshot of Montreal life and help you plan your time here (areas you may wish to return to take a deeper dive). The weather was not ideal for the tour and fog prevented us from seeing some of the views and I think the guide, Norman, was just as let down by this as us but he more than made up for it with his storytelling and who can control the weather? His tips & tricks (like how to order a meat sandwich with a cherry coke) were fun! Even my teen enjoyed it which is saying a lot. I'm really glad we booked it.
