★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice meander across a field and then into the woods. Follow a 25 degree hill up along a creek which cascades down to the ocean. Moss covered trees. Several bridges cross the creek as the trail goes up and down the hill. About 2 km return trip. A favorite walk of dog owners. An area overlooking the Satellite channel to Salt Spring Island has a picnic table at the base of the hill. You can also come into this trail from the top off the road that drives by the Arbutus Ridge housing area.
