About Grandview Modular Homes
From our first visit to United Homes to the final walkthrough we were impressed. It was cold and snowy when we first stopped by but the parking lot had been cleared and the homes on the lot were warm and inviting. Paul was fantastic to work with on the purchase of our home. He was quick to answer my unending questions and was never pushy throughout any aspect. I really appreciated this. He made us feel very good about our decision to purchase.
Once we had finalized the purchase of our home and moved into the development phase I began working with Angie. She was so pleasant to work with and was a huge help through every step of the process. We spoke daily and I am going to miss talking to her! Acreage developments are an involved and stressful process and the whole team at United worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly on their end. This was our first development and I am so happy we chose to go with United. I would purchase from them again and have already begun referring others. Thank you all so, so much! - Nicole Van Oyen

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my wife purchased a home from these people in Red Deer and I would never use them again and recommend people to stay away. They are your typical sale people and lie right to your face. Make sure you read the contract as they are not responsible for anything. When our home arrived there was significant damage and drywall cracks and they sent out a repair crew that damaged more and did not fix anything properly. When we brought it up they said they get it on the next repair but to paint it again they were going to charge me $65/hr. They installed the screw piles for the home that did not meet their own specifications and after a year I pulled the home off fix the piles and reinstalled the home at my cost. They were also very arrogant and rude, Terry threatened to charge my pregnant wife with trespassing if she when in to home before we sign it off. Do not purchase a home from these guys, I have purchased three homes in the past and never had issues like this.

Mr. OGP 66, you neither bought from Grandview Modular, nor deserve the right to make such a vicious rating. You have barely moved into your home that you bought from United Homes Canada, our sister company, and have not given UHC a chance to address your concerns before posting this rating. Just last week I believe we were successful in addressing and rectifying the vast majority of your concerns and have invited you to a face to face meeting to address the rest. I ask that you reconsider your viewpoint on this and provide a fair and accurate assessment once we have had some time to work on your concerns.
For any past, current or future prospective purchasers of either Grandview Modular or United Homes Canada, you should be aware that we employ a team of Customer Care Reps who work very hard to ensure that our customers are satisfied. We have probably the most comprehensive process and detailed contract to ensure our customers receive exactly what they order. If for any reason we fall short of meeting your expectations, we implore you to give us a chance to rectify your complaints before you turn to social media and slander our 47 year BBB A+ good name and rating. Call us, book a meeting with myself and my management team. We will listen to your concerns and perspective and will offer resolution and you will leave happy.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Steve, even though I was just there making inquiries. Nothing but praise for this company and it's staff. They've been in business for over 45 years, and I can certainly see why! Cheers.

It is a constant focus of the owner and managers to improve their business and customer service. My interactions with their team have been all about how we can improve their customers’ experience. I personally have witnessed the team go over and above to ensure their customers are looked after. I would most definitely purchase a home from these companies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ READ ALL THE REVIEWS!!! I sure wish we did. Grandview Homes/United Homes is the worst homebuider I have ever dealt with in my life. Everyone goes into building a home knowing it will have some bumps along the way but it’s the builder’s response to those things that determines what kind of company they are. Design process was painful even with buying a show home off the lot. Order out your own services, you’ll save piles of money and have less pain. Once ink on final cheque dried and we were no longer of use service went downhill rapidly. Concerns were not addressed in a timely manner and when they did come, did not thoroughly inspect root causes. Damages resulted. New Home Warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Ownership and construction coordinator were arrogant and unhelpful in working with us to resolve the problems and will blame home owners or weather for problems as you will undoubtedly see in their reply to this review and you can easily tell in all the other reviews. I would not recommend this company to build anyone a garden shed let alone a home for your family.
