I enjoy her information to include before and after pics, formula and strategy breakdowns, and just her outpour of info to make the industry better as a whole!!!! It would be an honor to sit on her chair!

She is always so friendly, kind, patient, professional, educated and helpful!!! I cannot say enough good things about her! And one only has to look at her posts to know they are very lucky to have a chance to experience her education and skills on curly hair or any hair during a service with her, and for her amazing colour services! These are very difficult times especially for hair stylists, and due to extensive backlogs they must prioritize their time to those in the chair at all times, and to those sincerely interested in booking future appointments and have already been waiting long periods of time rather than those who may just be looking for 'free advice' or to jump ahead of the crowd of people already patiently waiting for hair services. Mary is the best!

The first visit (see the pic attached) was to simply get a curly haircut, and Mary did a fantastic job. On top of the cut, she also gave me an Olaplex treatment that really boosted my curls and she helped take some of the brass out of my hair. I came back a few months later (pics pending!) to have the blonde covered and she gave me a gorgeous colour melt that I am just freaking out over. Mary is professional, kind, and a great conversationalist, and her team does an amazing job with the wash and curly girl process afterwards. My hair is incredibly happy and I've gotten so many compliments! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Her years of working with other products - and a lab in Montreal - allowed her to develop products that set her work apart from others. She is truly a hair artist that makes me feel empowered. She took my dull, mousy, straight hair to colourful with bounce and slight curl. I like it short so hiding the curl can be problematic. Once (for Fall) she took her inspiration from the magazine I was reading. I loved the compliments and feel she understands my hair better than I do!

When I first walked in, my hair was incredibly damaged and I thought all hope was lost. Mary and Heather’s years of expertise, knowledge and skills nursed my hair back to life and it is healthier than ever before. Not only do you leave looking and feeling wonderful, you also leave feeling prepared. The education I’ve received through being a client at Gossips has taught me how to properly take care of my hair between appointments. From resources and tips given to me during my session to their incredibly fun and knowledgeable Instagram page, I am constantly learning new and helpful information. Not to mention, they are always up for a fun colour, I had green hair as my signature colour for 2 years and the hues that Heather achieved were remarkable! It is always a delight going into Gossips whether it is a cut, colour and/or treatment, I know I’m going to have not only an amazing new look, but also spend time with two amazing people. Her passion and attention to detail make her one of the best. She has a true understanding of hair and how it will best suit its beholder. A true artist will know exactly what you need to compliment your best features. A great stylist cares about the integrity of the hair and educating those in her chair on the best home care. Mary encompasses all of these talents and then some! When I arrives I showed her photos of what I wanted, and she took the time to explain to me why it wouldn’t work and what would work with my hair. After the initial cut, I had my hair dried and cut again to make sure she didn’t cut off too much. I will for sure be back since I got bangs and they will need to be trimmed in the future. Moral of the story, if you have curly hair GO HERE. You won’t regret it and Mary will show you how beautiful your curls can be!
