★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gore Bay is a best-kept secret. A jewel of a village whose heart is the marina...gorgeous docks...clean washrooms...marine store... Canadian Yacht Charters with Ken Blodgett, a Toronto Boat Show speaker...resident deer who wander thru town grazing, posing for photos...tennis courts...hardware store and grocery store. Idyllic. We'll definitely be back! Gore Bay has our vote!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always docked here on our boating explorations in the North Channel . The docks are well maintained , the property is beautiful and the town is always nice to walk in .You never know what's going to be open there as businesses come and go over the years . Still , it's peaceful , the people are courteous , and you know you're only there for a short , passing visit .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small lovely marina. There is a play ground for kids close by, a wooden pavement along the water which fit for stroller and two restaurants.
You can rent kayaks at the store next to dock office and paddle around the bay.
