About Gondola Pizza Restaurants
Gondola Pizza made and delivered its first pizza in Winnipeg in 1964. Our first restaurant was located at the corner of Oakenwald Avenue and Pembina Highway and we’re proud to say we’re still operating at the same site. Because of limited space, the commissary was first set up in the basement and the main floor restaurant became a convenient testing ground for our newly developed recipes.
“With a commitment to homemade quality, we created the world-famous Incomparable Original Thin Crust” pizza. Soon after, we developed our delicious pasta and rib dinners, which are still made using the original recipes.
To this day, Gondola Pizza takes pride in its long-standing traditions of exceptional quality and extraordinary service. We’ve grown from humble beginnings in Winnipeg to being Manitoba’s first choice in pizza, pasta, ribs, chicken wings, salads and so much more.
Through all of our years of expansion, Gondola Pizza has remained a locally owned and operated company. Every day, we continue to provide Manitobans with great pizza, good times and life-long memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gondola Pizza Bird's Hill is by far the best of the Gondola's in/around Winnipeg. Had a few mediocre experiences from other franchises but Bird's Hill never disappoints. The dough is always fresh and they use actual sliced bacon instead of bits. Top notch!

Update 7/29/21: They have forgotten my sour cream an additional two times now. Guys I love this pizza!!! I don't want to stop ordering here...but the sour cream makes it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been ordering pick up from here for many many years. Not once have I ever had a problem. 5-6 times a year....10-12 years. Pizza is among the best there is. Absolutely nothing beats thin crust pep/mush/bacon!! Same as it was 40 years ago from Winnipeg or the old Selkirk store!! Hasn’t changed. What makes it so good!! Staff always friendly.

On Monday, Jan 3/2022, Ordered $100. 00 worth of food. Drove in from Selkirk,MB. Burnt cinnamon sticks and raw French fries. Pizza was good. The manager told me she helped with the order and didn’t see anything wrong with it. I took a picture. So disappointed in customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for the Gondola in Birds Hill. Tonight was the first time we ordered in a while. Had a couple orders in the past that arrived pretty cold. I live 9 minutes away. Tonight it was spot on, perfect cook, perfect crust, right amount of sauce and toppings. And it arrived hot! Well done! Keep doing what you did tonight.
