Golf Town - Richardson

Tim the fellow working the grip centre was phenomenal. Not only did he make fun of my clubs he actually asked me about my game and recommended a cheaper set than I wanted. He was honest, easy going and really helpful when it came to picking grips. Give this guy a medal, I just want to come back and hang out with him. Luckily you don't serve beer otherwise I would have stayed all afternoon. 10/10 will be back again.

Very quick service. I got a club re-gripped and spent less than 20 minutes in the store. I was the second customer in line for club repairs. The staff are very knowledgeable. I wish their prices were lower.

Just bought new shoes and a hat at the Regina Golf Town site. GREAT deal on the shoes and the hat is very nice so 5 stars on the merchandise. My 2 star rating was on the “customer service”. I was there before the doors opened at 10:00 a.m. When the doors opened at 10:00 sharp I was the first customer in the store and I’m fairly certain that nobody came in after me. I knew exactly what I wanted as I had done the research online prior to going into the store. I found the shoes immediately and waited ... and waited ... for some assistance. There were a couple of staff at the front entrance and I could hear somebody hitting golf balls at the back of the store - but nobody came to help me. Finally I started waving my hands, jumping around, and almost yelling for someone to give me some assistance. A young person who was still at the front of the store saw me and asked if I needed help - LOL ... kind of humorous. I asked a number of questions about the shoes most of which he wasn’t quite sure on how to answer as it sounded like he really didn’t know what he had in stock. I asked him if he could check the stock - which he did but then got confused between a size 9 and a 9 1/2. I asked for a shoe-horn to put the shoes on so I didn’t wreck the back of the shoe while putting it on. He didn’t have a clue what I was talking about - so I explained what a “shoe horn” was and that maybe it’d be a good idea to have one around especially seeing that the store sells expensive shoes. Finally, the attitude he displayed was one of, “I don’t want to be here!”. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt - maybe he was just having a bad day. Anyways ... I could go on and describe a couple of other things that were indicative of this experience of very poor customer service and lack of knowledge on his part.

Tons of equipment and accessories like most Golf Towns but I will either go to another location or ship online and have it delivered. I took my son for his first time as he just started golfing. I told him how great these stores are. My thought quickly changed as the staff was almost depressed I would say from the two at the door to the person at the cash register. It was like I was bothering them by being in the store. Just blah is the best way to describe them. Not one person came by to see if we needed help either but they could have 5 people near the till but I was the only customer for awhile purchasing anything. If I wasn't picking up something I had ordered then I would have just walked out. My wife even made a comment saying is this how golf stores are? Bad experience for my son which really sucked to be honest and I was not impressed sad to say. Golfers spend a lot of money, maybe be more appreciative and helpful plus put a smile on if you work in the front of the store. Be unhappy in the back.

Love this place. Staff are incredibly helpful and more importantly, knowledgable. Always a pleasure coming here even when you dont buy anything. Update Went in tonight and bought a new set of Cobra LTDx. The assistance I received was above and beyond. I hit for about 45 minutes and tried many different clubs. Service was impeccable. Thanks so much

Jack the guy that helped me out was amazing at his job i came in to look for a driver and he was telling me about all different kinds. Once i got into the simulator he was giving me feedback on my swing and the numbers i was hiting. He made the process so easy and helped me pick the driver perfect for me. I will definitely go to back to him for help with anything i need in that store

Customer service was top notch. Sales person went out of his way to help me pick out a golf cart for my son. He listened and made good suggestions. He even carried it to my car for me and at 71 ..that was appreciated.

The place to go, has a wide selection of golf clubs, clothing & equipment from top brands. Also has Technicians and Certified Fitters who customize clubs, to help get the most out of our game. Big ups to the Golf Town
