THIS STORE WILL NOT GIVE EYE EXAMS WITHOUT PURCHASE OF THEIR OVERLY MARKED UP FRAMES. You'll also notice that most of the other reviews are members of their working force or family, rather than actually customers. Was essentially told that they are too cheap to just give only an eye exam. Even though I called with the specifics that we wanted two eye exams and PERHAPS glasses, but of course they wouldn't offer that information until we arrived.

Have been with them since 2006. Excellent services, very patient with me everytime I go adjust my glasses. The best optical I have been in the past years.

My whole family has been their customer since 2014. I am glad to return to their store today. Just like before, nice staff and consistent great quality. In addition to that, their strict sanitary standard makes me feel safe and comfortable.

This review was done by Lily's husband Will Lew. On July.19/21 Andy (owner) helped explain the advantages of glasses versus contact lenses. Andy is extremely polite and very knowledgeable about glasses and he was very patient to explain everything today.

Andy is always so professional and efficient. He is the best to adjust glasses so the glasses are comfortable and won't hurt me! I have been coming to Andy for over 10 years and only come to him every time I need new glasses!

This is my second time purchasing prescription glasses with them. The first experience was fine, this time however was brutally difficult, and I am stuck with this pair of dysfunctional glasses. I spent $446 on this pair of glasses. Since I'm not getting my money back, I believe I deserve to write this review. The optometrist overly tested my prescription, which led to distorted vision on the first pair of glasses. I went back, they said nothing is wrong with it and told me to "adjust to it and wear it for 2 weeks". I simply could NOT adjust to it, because everything I see was distorted (ie: when I hold my phone in my hand, it's curved. I also had miscalculation of distance, and had to hold on to railings when taking the stairs. I couldn't drive because the road looked distorted, and even the speedometer gauge was off). So I went back, and they were then willing to adjust down my prescription (but no second full eye exam) and re-make my glasses, which then took another week. Earlier this week, they called and said glasses are ready, so I went. I went into the store, the optometrist gave me the glasses, I put them on, he was like "no problem, right?". While I was still testing it out, and trying to see different things...he turned around and went to open the door to let me out. He didn't even give me a chance to speak, or even offer to adjust the frame/nose bridge. Walked/Chased me out. No service. For the entire experience, there was barely any customer service. Their tone of communication was firm and not apologetic at all. When I describe what I see when I wear glasses, they keep on trying to convince me, as if I'm seeing things wrong, or it's my fault for not "wearing" it right, or it's my fault for not using my glasses correctly. I understand people make mistakes, and even optometrists may over-test on prescription, but I don't appreciate their attitude - sure, on the surface, it may seem like they've made adjustments for me, and re-made my glasses, but I did not feel appreciated like a customer, and now, I'm stuck with this pair of dysfunctional glasses, and I don't even WANT to go back because I don't need them to condescend me. If your product is not right, make it up with your service. If there is no product and no service, and you are using that tone with me, no thanks. I can't deal with you all. Next stop, going to Costco.

My whole family have been with Golden Optical for many years, we have had various eye glasses, from regular near eyesight to progressive types, all precisely made and very comfortable to wear. That also comes with excellent warranty, no questions asked as long as it’s within the coverage, the services is always provided on time. We are happy and will continue to have our eyeglasses serviced by Golden Optical.

I came in to get my sunglasses repaired and Andy was professional, honest and helpful. Very pleased with the service and knowledge provided. Thanks again to the wonderful staff :)
