M	Mike Pinchers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reviews are personal comments on your experience, this is our 6th stay at Golden Acres Mountain Lodge so safe to say we absolutely recommend staying at the lodge. Bruce & Cathy are genuinely warm welcoming hosts, the Lodge is worth a trip on its own, add the Hot Tub, Sauna, camp fire and mountain views and the package is alomst complete. Completion is "Breakfast" !. I can try and describe it but it would not do it justice. My advice is book a room and try it. We will be returning for a 7th visit.

Nice views and Bruce and Cathy were the most amazing hosts, Bruce let’s guests know all the best places to visit around this area and Cathy is not just a gracious host but show cases her amazing talents as a fantastic cook. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort and was treated like family, I look forward to many more visits when visiting this amazing gemstone in the mountains.

My husband and I booked a one night stay with Cathy and Bruce and we could not have enjoyed it more. Upon arrival, they were very happy to receive us and explained the many amenities included in our stay. Our private room was very comfortable, and the shared hot tub was a relaxing touch. The best part was the complementary breakfast the next day. It was honestly chef quality and it was probably the best part of our stay. :) We highly recommend this mountain lodge for any couple looking for a relaxing time in the wild.

Cathy's fresh baked treats are top notch, and if you stay in 1 of the rooms in the main house you will experience a breakfast like no other. Bruce never let us run out of fire wood and he was always available if we needed him. The camp fire gathering in the evening, meeting new people and always great converstions. We have stayed here 4-5 times and can't wait to return this year .

The breakfast was so amazing and was not what we were expecting at all …. Poached Pears…. Home made Blueberry Danishes Oh my goodness. The rooms are massive in size and the shared common area is so huge its more than enough room that you can social distance if you need to. A BBQ, a sauna, a hot tub are just a few of the extas provided. We will be back again for sure

A stunning mountain lodge is the stage for luxurious and most importantly comfortable suites. We have stayed in fair weather and other and Bruce & Cathy always have great ideas for outdoor adverted. And then there’s the food! Beautifully presented, , amazing scratch baking. So delicious!! We stay every chance we can!!

Bruce and Cathy are some of the rudest hosts I've ever met and I have stayed in a lot of air bnbs. They don't care about the guests and only care about their payday. The way they treat you after they've taken your money is disgusting and if you paid by credit card watch your statements. They are known to charge your account after you've left for "damages". Didn't happen to me but I heard them discuss about doing this to at least 2 guests during my stay. I didn't appreciate hearing gun shots at night. I stayed here to get closer to nature, not to listen to Cathy complain about the deers and admit to shooting them so they wouldn't eat from her garden. I do not recommend this place.

Cathy and Bruce were excellent hosts and helped to make sure that the whole stay was comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable. The hot breakfasts each morning were such a treat - Cathy is an excellent cook and it was such a treat to wake up each morning to see what she had created. Her use of local and in season ingredients were a delight. Both her and Bruce were easy to talk to and attentive to the needs of each of their guests. The lodge is spectacular and the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Loved the atmosphere and waking up each morning to mountain views and being away from the busyness of the highways and loads of people. This is the perfect place to retreat to if you are looking for somewhere cozy to stay in and hunker down or a home base while you spend your days doing local activities. Either way, you will find that this place is a gem! Can't wait to come back and stay again.
