Should have given it 5 stars, stupid phone. Chalets are huge, love the log cabin architecture. Amazing view, well appointed fitting and fixtures. Was a pleasure to stay here, wish it had been longer

Large chalet style cabin, clean, well kept in quiet area. Lots of mountain views. Includes kitchen with most items you'd need. Our unit had double (or queen) plus 2 twins in loft and another bedroom with queen down. 2 bathrooms.

We have stayed here twice with friends... already looking at the next chance to come back! True.. a little drive to and fro to some destinations (Banff) , but so I totally worth the resting place. Besides, the drive/ adventure is worth every moment. White water adventures within minutes of the chalets. Incredibly beautiful, relaxing and all around awesome. Loved every minute! Already looking at dates for our next adventure back (and we live in Texas, so it's a long way!!).

Minus it being off of a dirt road as well as having no parking directly next to our Chalet (short walk to parking area), place is amazing. Very clean and very cozy. Having to stay inside due to all the smoke from the wildfires. Has a really slow internet connection. TV is keeping the wife and I occupied since we need to stay indoors. 30 minutes from Golden (nearest town).

These cabins are privately owned and rented out. We made a deal with an owner to stay here in exchange for our painting services. The deal was that we would drive here from Calgary, paint 3-4 SMALL walls total, roughly a few hours of work, in exchange for a weekend of free stay here. We could only stay during the off season and the work was to be done while we stayed here. We drove the 3 hours, only to find out we needed to put in roughly 48 hours of labour. Two bathrooms, a bedroom, an upstairs area, kitchen, high walls in the main area. When we asked if we could stay another weekend the owner was very rude and declined. When we got in the room it had a note for the cleaners saying “no wine, no services, turn heat off, etc” as if we were not even guests. Guy completely ripped us off, waisted our time and gas. All the parks in the area were closed. No firewood for the fire. A deal was a deal and we didn’t get our end. It’s amazing when you are wealthy how poorly you think you can treat tradesmen and women.

Feb 14, 2020. Chalet 16. We booked a two night stay for our Valentines. Within two hours we had killed three cockroaches, and missed many more that were scurrying around the kitchen. Hosts were notified but offered no resolution. Ended up leaving and having to pay to stay elsewhere and am now fighting to be reimbursed. They still will be letting other guests check in without addressing the issue.

These cabins are paradise. The location is unreal, so close to Yoho national park, kicking horse, lake Louise and Banff. Loved the beautiful views and spacious cabins. I will continue to come back here.

Recently rented a cabin at Chancellor Peak Chalets, the cabins were clean and tidy with many amenities, location and surrounding area was phenomenal. Communication with host was seamless and professional. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy yet rustic stay, absolutely enjoyed it and definitely will be back in the future.
