Gold Touch Construction and Renovation

Recently purchased house with an unfinished basement. The guys came in, quoted quickly and reasonably and the crew got right to work. They kept me informed every step of the way and made the process as easy and stress free as could be. Cheers guys, thanks for the great work!

My house was a mess until i hired gold touch construction and they made it so beautiful that I could not realize it’s the same place. Now I know who to call when it comes to renovation!

Had my kitchen and flooring renovated by Gold Touch from June 2018 - Sept 2018. Had a great impression on Mo and his staff upon first meeting them. They gave me a quick timeline, stated that they could work within my budget, and promised the best quality. If you look on their homepage, my renovation is displayed under "Kitchen Remodelling". To the naked eye, it looks amazing - and I'm not gonna lie, my kitchen does look awesome on the website. However, after living here, I've noticed so many flaws. There's blue permanent ink on the insides of the cabinets which is impossible to remove. The grout used for the backsplash tiles was applied poorly. Some outlets were missing screws. The bottoms of the cabinets weren't finished, had pencil markings, and dried stucco. The kitchen counter wasnt even measured properly as it is not aligned with the adjacent wall. Please see pictures for reference. Now these are small imperfections that I've kept quiet about and that I can live with. When my insurance came to re-do my floor, they pointed out so many problems with how the flooring was laid. I'm not a flooring expert, but they stated that the floor was never levelled correctly. I had to pay out of pocket ($2000+) for it to be re-levelled when Mo stated he did it. Some parts of the laminate were glued together which would not allow for the proper expansion of the floorboards. They insurance company mentioned that a "cap" should have been used where the tile meets the laminate. Mo glued a strip of metal in-between this gap which looked great, but definitely does not benefit the integrity of the flooring. Furthermore, I gave Mo a certain budget and he promised me he would work within it. We went over by 15% which I'm not complaining about, but for that price, I would expect much better finish, attention to detail, and what happened to the flooring installation?! I paid for you to level my floor only to find out that it was done so poorly that had to do pay for it and have someone else do it for me again. Mo's staff also caused some complaints. I had at least two smoking complaints. They were smoking on my balcony and condo courtyard area when they knew they weren't supposed to. They parked their vehicle in an area where they were not allowed to park. When they brought the kitchen cabinets, they damaged some of the cement tiles in a common area which I had to cover. Mo did his best to handle his staff, but they were more of a nuisance if anything. I was going to give this review a 1 star, but there were some positives working with Mo. Again, timeliness was key. The quality of the cabinets, kitchen sink, countertops, backsplash is top notch. The flooring material, although laminate, is top quality. I can see a lot of potential in this business as long as they take their time and do things the right way - Pay attention to detail and not rush through their work.

Gold touch was a pleasant surprise in the world of contracting. From the beginning to end of the project they were clear about their delivery dates in which they met or exceeded them. Their pricing structure was clearly laid out, was fair, and didn't increase at any point of the project. I am satisfied with the finished product and would certainly recommend and use them again for our future restaurants!

I have worked with this company on multiple projects. They are truly a professional team. Their pricing was very accurate and we didn't run into too many unexpected things during our projects. They are also reasonable the extra things we added during the work. We've had a bad experience with another contractor which came in to low in initial pricing but couldn't deliver proper job and these guys saved our life. Thank you Gold touch.

Reza and the team at Gold Touch Construction are simply fantastic. He was very communicative and timely as I reached out and really listened to the concerns we had for the work we wanted done in our space. He was also proactive in showing us things that he thought were a concern that we had not noticed. You could tell they care and take pride in what they do. The quote was fast and fair. The work was completed ahead of schedule and on budget and they even proactively did some extra work that we never asked them to do....I was so impressed. Fantastic, hardworking, ethical, honest, and kind, I would recommend Gold Touch to anyone and will be using them again in the future.

I hired Gold touch construction because they offered to do an on-site estimate, gave a detailed breakdown of the work and costs, and had great suggestions for what was possible and what wasn't. As the project unfolded, they always arrived on time, everyone who worked on the project was friendly and knowledgeable, and the work was done very well, on schedule and on budget. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole team at Gold Touch Construction, and will definitely call them again next time I have a project to do around the house!
