Kyle and his team did a great job at removing 4 stumps and a tree in the home we moved into in a timely and careful manner. They cleaned up everything and fees were very competitive. He will be our go to person for other tree care concerns.

Hired this company when we moved over a year ago, at that time everything was great, jobs were done, everyone was happy then things went down hill. We hired them again to cut down a few trees, clean up the tree line for a property fence and clean up about 8 years worth of over growth in a garden bed, which was divided into 2 different visits, totally fine it was a lot of work. We had to call and switch out the over growth clearing to cutting down 2 trees in the same area for a pool install since the pool couldn’t go where we thought. We confirmed which 2 trees were to be cut down with Kyle and we kept our original date of the 19/20th of August. That date came and went, no call, text or email stating they were behind with jobs. They finally showed up 10 days after our original date, waved hi from the trucks and started the job, since they’d been here multiple times they knew the property and let them get to work. It wasn’t until I checked why it was so loud near our house that I found the crew cutting down the wrong trees!! These are 40 year old plus trees that were not suppose to be touched After a conversation with the crew who could see how distraught we were they couldn’t get ahold of Kyle so my husband tried multiple times and Kyle put the problem back on us but said he’d call my husband back, he also asked what the dimensions of the trees were that were cut down for replacements. I emailed Kyle a few days after about the whole situation including pictures and dimensions of the trees and asked for a date the tree replacement, just the 1 tree to be replaced, I’d let the other tree go and not replace that one - meeting half way. I’ve given this company plenty of time to respond either by phone or email and they have yet to do either. If this is what companies do to returning clients and clients that did refer multiple people to them this isn’t a company I can support - local or not. They messed up, got caught, called out on it, given time and all information requested from the original phone call after the wrong trees cut down, homeowners willing to work with them to make it right and yet....here we are, missing 2 trees over 40 years old, original 2 trees still standing and absolutely no communication from this company.....do not trust any company with all positive reviews, most people don’t want to leave negative reviews they’d rather move on. I wish they would of come to the table and fixed the issue and I could of given a 5 star review and written about a stand up company who made a mistake and corrected it.

Today Kyle and his crew removed 25 years of Over growth from our back yard. Removed 2 trees and a few small dead trees plus trimmed shaped and dead branches 6 more trees. They were easy to work with and professional, polite. Clean up was very well done and all of this for a very fair price. We would definitely recommend Godon Tree Care to anyone needing this service..Thankyou guys..

Should be called “GODON TREE DOESN’T CARE”. Never have I seen a group of inconsiderate, disrespectful, unprofessional people as the workers and owner of Godon Tree Care. Twice they’ve been working across the street from my house and they’ve dropped trees right onto the street blocking traffic and destroying my lawn. They park vehicles and equipment on both sides of the street causing chaos for school buses and neighbours. Every time they’ve done work on my street they leave a mess of branches, needles, and leaves in the gutter. Godon Tree Care acts with no regard or care for their surroundings. They are rude and negligent. If you are looking for an arborist you should take your business elsewhere.

I was so impressed with Kyle and his team. They showed up!! And, On Time!! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. I would recommend Godon Tree Care, 100% to anyone who is looking for an Arborist, or any kind of Tree service. Thank you, Fantastic Job! Definitely call them again!!

I was going to write this review last year but I figured I’d cut the company some slack. Unfortunately now having no returned call and a no show a second year in a row, I’ve decided to write this review and suggest to people that you go with a different company instead. Let me explain. I used Kyle last year in ‘21. He said he would show up on a specific day and time which we agreed to well ahead of the fact. We texted as well as had phone calls multiple times leading up to the day. When the day came, he did not show up. It wouldn’t have been so bad but I took the day off from work and there was ZERO communication from him whatsoever; no call, no text. I called, and texted throughout the day… The only time he answered was in the evening when I called from a different number he didn’t recognize… Caught off guard he came up with a weak and insufficient excuse which still didn’t answer the fact that he could have given me a courtesy note that he couldn’t make it. Regardless, he came out a week or two later and the work was done. What has prompted me to write this review was that now a year later, I figured I’d try supporting the business again and give them another chance. I needed a tree cut down and Kyle said he’d come by the next morning to look at and quote the work. Of course and like last time, no show and no call from Kyle now well over a week later. Use a company that cares about your business. And before you (Godon Tree) respond to the review with an excuse… It doesn’t dismiss the fact that the phone strapped to your hip can’t send a courtesy call or text to let a customer know you’re late or can’t make it…
