★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goat Creek Trail runs from Canmore to Banff and is best for mountain biking in the summer or cross country skiing in the winter. It’s a beautiful well maintained trail that’s roughly nineteen kilometres long. Most of the trail is sandwiched between tall trees which blocks most views of the mountains but there are a few beautiful stops along the way where you can stop and take in the views and nature. This is also a kid friendly hike/trail.
