★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrivée vers 15heures, on se fait retourner car Madame elle très occupée et n’est pas disponible. On retourner à Baie Saint-Paul et on décide d’y rester pour souper et retourner au gîte vers 18h30, on a été reçu par une dame avec un air mitigé pour ne pas dire bête pour se faire dire que la chambre n’est pas disponible car elle a été réservée 5 fois.
Elle nous trouve un autre gîte à 18 kilomètres de là, elle s’occupe de tout d’après ces dires, incluant le paiement du nouveau gîte. Et bien, les propriétaires du gîte en question n’ont pas été payé encore. J’ai essayé de communiquer avec la date au téléphone, elle daigne répondre à l’occasion mais elle raccroche au nez également. Pensez-y à deux fois avant d’aller là.
 Arriving around 3 p.m., we were turned around because Madame she was very busy and not available. We return to Baie Saint-Paul and we decide to stay there for dinner and return to the lodge around 6:30 p.m., we were received by a lady with a mixed air not to say stupid to be told that the room is not available because it has been booked 5 times.
She finds us another lodge 18 kilometers away, she takes care of everything according to these statements, including the payment of the new lodge. Well, the owners of the lodge in question haven't been paid yet. I tried to contact the date on the phone, she deigns to answer occasionally but hangs up on the phone as well. Think twice before you go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'accueil est chaleureux, La chambre est propre. La salle de bains est exiguë. Le petit déjeuner est gargantuesque. La proximité avec la 138 empêche d'ouvrir la fenêtre et de profiter du jardin au demeurant charmant. Ceci dit, les plus sont des grands plus et les moins à l'appréciation de chacun. Je pourrais y retourner !
The welcome is warm, The room is clean. The bathroom is cramped. The breakfast is gargantuan. The proximity to the 138 prevents opening the window and enjoy the garden, however charming. That said, most are great plus and least to everyone's appreciation. I could go back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Carole, la dame du gîte, était très accueillante à notre arrivé. Elle nous a fait des recommandations sur la ville de Baie St-Paul comme c'était notre première visite. On a même pu voir 2 chambres et choisir celle qui nous plaisait le plus. Propreté impeccable, déjeuné excellent avec beaucoup de choix. L'endroit est très charmant. La douche de notre chambre était toutefois très petite, c'est le seul bémol. Sinon je recommande!
Carole, the lady of the house, was very welcoming when we arrived. She made recommendations on the city of Baie St-Paul as it was our first visit. We even saw 2 rooms and choose the one we liked the most. Impeccable cleanliness, excellent lunch with lots of choice. The place is very charming. The shower in our room was however very small, it's the only downside. Otherwise I recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I travelled to Baie Saint Paul for work and was booked by my employer at le petite mesanges. Based on the reviews I was hesitant. When I arrived I was greeted by Nicole with open arms. She was so patient with us as we arrived over the course of 2 days with no indication for her of when we would arrive. I was pleasantly surprised but the beautiful setting and the beautiful cared for rooms. The decor is truly lovely and you can feel the pride and care that Nicole puts in to the home. Built in 1852 the house has lovely character and is well named for the birds chirping outside! Breakfast was wonderful each day, with fruit, cheeses, fresh baked breakfast, some mornings light and some mornings decidant with French toast or crepes. Nicole made me a wonderful cappuccino each morning and the coffee pot was on the ready for a top up! The bed was incredibly comfortable and I found the home a lovely respite and safe place to land after long busy days. I hope to one day return with my husband for a retreat. If I could give 10✨ I would. Thanks Nicole for taking such good care of us during our stay ?❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at this bed and breakfast during a recent work trip and loved it. The host, Nicole, was excellent and made me feel like I was at home. Each bedroom has a comfortable bed and has its own private bathroom. The breakfast was always excellent featuring fresh baked goods and locally sourced cheese, jam, etc. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the Baie-St-Paul area.
