I’m moderately active and have the usual mild but chronic late 30’s aches and pains. More recently I have been dealing with a frozen shoulder and moderate lower left back pain most likely from weight training, which is what prompted me to seek out Max. What I really appreciate about him is that he spends time to understand how I’m really thinking about a (faulty) movement and then helps me re-wire my thoughts around it. The exercises we do feel completely tailored to my specific needs (and are kinda weird) instead of the set of generic canned exercises I’m using to doing with other trainers. In the 7 weeks we’ve been working together I can now do things with my shoulder I haven’t been able to do in 5 months and my back also feels 80% better! I have even stopped seeing my physio! Max is extremely professional, holds a well of technical knowledge, responds to my messages right away, always follows up the day after a tough session, AND he has an unlimited supply of funny analogies to help you understand new concepts. Ultimately my goal is to do whatever Max can do on his Instagram photos lol and I am confident that he will be able to get me there. 10/10 recommend!!

Maxim has been an excellent trainer, and easy to get along with, yet serious and focused. My fitness level has improved immensely working with him, and I feel more flexible and strong.

Maxim is very professional but also a very fun coach. He knows his stuff and gives good reasoning behind his approach without all the long winded science stuff (If you ask for it he will tell you). He doesn't just give praise, he tell you when you are in a poor position and how to improve.

Maxim is not just someone you see to get fit or exercise. He will change how you fundamentally think about how you move in your every day life. Everyone should have someone like Maxim in their lives as we live in a world where we've been divorced from using our body mechanics in its natural intuitive forms, whether it's through sedentary lifestyles or through modern exercise regimes that emphasize "engaging your core" without realizing that this is a discrete and disconnected fast solution that creates pain from tensions with other parts of the body. He doesn't just push you to do countless reps and sets, rather he gives you functional exercises and stretches that stem from a few core principles that are intuitive and easy to understand. He empowers you to take care of and understand your own body. Can't say that for most things these days.

Maxim is an excellent teacher and has a great knowledge of fitness/ body science. He focuses on your form to get most out of your workout. He is very dedicated, really cares about the results. If you are looking for a gym to attain your fitness goals, Maxim is your guy.

I’ve recently started seeing Maxim for personal training. Amongst the various classes I’ve taken and trainers I’ve met, Maxim is a singularly bright spot. Not only is he patient and kind but he is effective. Rather than emphasizing reps or speed, he focuses on form. For the first time in my life i’ve learned how to squat correctly, how to do a push up, etc. What’s more, Maxim has taught me how to walk, sit, and carry my body. He understands the body and explains things in a way that make it easy to understand. Using simple techniques I’ve significantly reduced the strain on my back in my day-to-day activities. I would recommend anyone take a class with him regardless of age or ability. There is really no one quite like him. He will fundamentally change how you think about your body and move your body. I can’t recommend him enough.

Training is a process. Maxim knows how to make the process straightforward and fun. His awareness of the different muscle groups and how to retrain the brain is brilliant. I've been taking weekly sessions - the progress is steady and very significant. If you have an opportunity to train under Maxim's guidance, know that you're learning from the VERY BEST!

Maxim is the walking encyclopaedia of human anatomy, flexibility and handstand. He gets to the fundamentals of how the body and mind are connected so much easier to understand why our individual bodies move way it is. To become aware of old bad habits and postures so to embrace new way of connecting to our bodies. Would highly recommend him to anyone who wants long term results and serious about their training and performance.
